4. Target market
Our target markets are college students, career personnel and

successful in their endeavors. Our target market as a life
coaching company cuts across people of different class and
from all walks of life. We are coming into the personal
development and coaching industry with a business concept and
company’s profile that will enable us work with the clients at
different learning stages and different statuses.
5. Industry
The Life Coaches industry revenue is expected to increase
gradually after the drop in disposable income and a spike in the
national unemployment rate as a result of the COVID-19
(coronavirus) pandemic, which encouraged consumers to shy
away from discretionary purchases and expensive services, such
as industry services.
The demand for industry services usually increases in times of
economic distress and low confidence and the consumers are
starting to be able to afford life coaches as the economy slowl y
bounces back to growth, which is likely to increase growth.
Industry operators that are taking on clients have shifted from
in-person meetings to phone or video calls to continue helping
their clients while complying with health and safety guidelines.
Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges fits into the current and future
trends by using both in-person sessions, phone calls, and online
coaching services.
6. Legal structure
a. Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges is a non-government, non-

IV. Marketing Plan
This section provides details on your industry, the competitive
landscape, your target market and how you will market your
business to those customers.
Market research
The Life Coach industry comprises entities, either individuals
or companies, which provide counseling services to people in
the areas of personal growth, relationship issues, career path
and related topics. The demand for this industry is both
positively and negatively correlated with the state of the overall
economy. During economic contractions, many consumers seek
out industry services, because life coaches are trained to help
businesses and individuals navigate stressful situations, such as
economic slowdowns. Conversely, since industry services are
considered largely discretionary, life coaches are likely to get
cut from the consumers' budgets when funds are tight.
Therefore, over the five years to Rise Up- Overcoming
Challenges, the Life Coach industry is anticipated to continue
expanding as consumers and businesses recover from the
COVID-19 pandemic and demand industry services. The
growing economy will lead to higher per capita disposable
incomes and more secure career outlooks for Americans where
the primary focus of the business will be directed. Although
growth in the overall economy will lessen the need for industry
services to a degree, continued struggles along numerous
segments of the economy, coupled with higher disposable
income as a whole, will increase demand. Therefore, industry
revenue is forecasted to grow at an annualized rate of 1.2% to
1.2 billion over the five years to 6 billion. The IC estimates
that each coach will earn over the range of $27,100 to $73,100
annually.
Barriers to entry
As a startup, Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges will face unique
challenges? Barriers to entry faced by the organization include:
· High startup costs
· High production costs
· High marketing costs
· Brand recognition challenges
· Need for specialized technology or patents
· Legal constraints
Threats and opportunities
Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges engaged the services of a core
professional in the area of business consulting and structuring
to assist our organization in building a well – structured
personal training and life coaching business that can favorably
compete in the highly competitive personal training and life
coaching industry in the United States and the world at large.
Part of what the team of business consultant did was to work
with the management of our organization in conducting a SWOT
analysis for Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges. Here is a
summary from the result of the SWOT analysis that was
conducted on behalf of Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges.
· Strength:
Our core strength lies in the power of our team; our workforce.
We have a team that are considered experts in the industry, a
team with excellent qualifications and experience in personal
development and life coaching.
Aside from the synergy that exist in our carefully selected team
members and our strong online presence, Barry & Rise Up-
Overcoming Challenges is well positioned in a community with
the right demography and we know we will attract many clients
from the first day we open our doors for business.
· Weakness:
As a new life coaching organization in Orlando, Florida, it
might take some time for our organization to break into the
market and gain acceptance especially from top profile clients
in the already saturated personal training and life coaching
industry; that is perhaps our major weakness.
· Opportunities:
No doubt, the opportunities in the life coaching industry is
massive considering the number of individuals and corporate
organizations who would want to achieve their goals and to
perform excellently well in their jobs and personal life. As a
standard personal training and life coaching organization, we
are ready to take advantage of any opportunity that comes our
way.
· Threat:
Some of the threats that we are likely going to face as a
personal training and life coaching organization operating in the
US are unfavorable government policies that might affect
business such as ours, the arrival of a competitor within our
location of operations and global economic downturn which
usually affects spending / purchasing power.

Market research The Life Coach industry comprises entities, either individuals or companies, which provide counseling services to people in the areas of personal growth, relationship issues, career path and related topics. The demand for this industry is both positively and negatively correlated with the state of the overall
  • 8. economy. During economic contractions, many consumers seek out industry services, because life coaches are trained to help businesses and individuals navigate stressful situations, such as economic slowdowns. Conversely, since industry services are considered largely discretionary, life coaches are likely to get cut from the consumers' budgets when funds are tight. Therefore, over the five years to Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges, the Life Coach industry is anticipated to continue expanding as consumers and businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and demand industry services. The growing economy will lead to higher per capita disposable incomes and more secure career outlooks for Americans where the primary focus of the business will be directed. Although growth in the overall economy will lessen the need for industry services to a degree, continued struggles along numerous segments of the economy, coupled with higher disposable income as a whole, will increase demand. Therefore, industry revenue is forecasted to grow at an annualized rate of 1.2% to 1.2 billion over the five years to 6 billion. The IC estimates that each coach will earn over the range of $27,100 to $73,100 annually. Barriers to entry As a startup, Rise Up- Overcoming Challenges will face unique challenges?
