EQUIPOISED
Totem Stacks
Sculptural rocks in clay balanced skywards on a wooden base with a
metal pole. The concept is inspired from tribal traditions of stacking
rocks as totem pillars. Infused with a palette of diverse sculpting
patterns, the sculptures are equipoised. The clay rocks can be
permuted on the totem stack, or strewn in a zen garden as a bedrock
with a delectable tactile palette.
Size of the stacks varies between 36” to 15”.

BEAUX SOUVENIRS
Phone Form Sculptural Lamp
Looking through my grandma’s attic, this old phone and the stories
recollected by her inspired me to create this sculpture. Manifested as
a lamp, it signifies how her memories light up her world. The
sinuous curves are inspired from art nouveau aesthetic, accentuating
the mood of romanticising memories.
Size: 13” X 7” X 5”

MULTIPLY YOUR PRAYERS
Prayer Wheels
This form is derived from the Buddhist tradition of prayers from Tibet.
They are found in various sizes, from the hand held wheels to big
movable pillars in monasteries. It is believed that the millions of prayer
contained in the wheel can be manifested in seconds by turning the wheel.
Slab form is moulded on a cylindrical object to mold it. The terracotta
grains are hand burnished with a metal spoon for a subtle sheen.
Size: 16” X 24”

PRIMROSES AND THORNS
Hand Coiled Large Planters
Characterized by lyrical elements like thorns concealing peeping
primroses and periphery of a cascading river, this is a collection of three
hand beaten coiled pots, a traditional technique still prevalent in many
parts of the world. The elements signify the love and wait for the first
few blooms of spring.
Sizes of the pots : 12” x 9”, 20” X 18”, 22” X 22”

DAYS THAT HOLD US
Mural Art
Oh the days that hold us,
Transcend to the years that mold us!
Through this montage I express everything that gives
me joy. As I revel, dream and pursue, I turn a new
leaf. Hand made slab work tiles in low firing clay are
juxtaposed on a wooden frame. Figurines and accents
are created from pinching and slab work method.
Kalamkari (line art) adorns the surface detailing.
Size: 60” X 42”
