2. Having worked as a digital technician on set for last eight years, I have gained a
huge range of experience in many areas of the challenging work of commercial
photography. Ranging from high-end fashion brands, cars campaigns, still life and
celebrity portraiture. I have worked with an extensive list of clients and am capable
of assessing a clients needs and delivering to the highest standard, often working
under high pressure and with tight deadlines.
My work has given me the experience of working within a studio
environment and has taken me to many challenging shoot locations.
Part of my role is to advise the photographer and client on a customized kit best
tailored for the job at hand.Working as a digital technician has not just given me
an insight into what is required on set but also what is required behind the scenes,
working and liaising with post-production.
More recently taken a step back from being on set and have moved into a
consultancy role, enabling me to focus on my own practice, I advise photographers
and capture companies on bespoke setup and branding. Advising on kit setups,
capture procedure and sourcing technicians. Helping them build specialized teams,
that can deliver to the highest standard.
