3. Explanations of the pictures.
• The type of look that we are going for in our anime is the traditional
school girl look. This is usually represented by several Japanese anime’s.
• The girls are portrayed as weak, submissive and having a high sex appeal
on the male characters. They seem as if they thrive off of the attention
that they gain by dressing in a certain way. Such as having short skirts, high
socks, tops being unbuttoned in order to attract male attention.
• However, the males are portrayed as strong because they play the
protector role, this is considered as masculine. They are also portrayed as
cool because of the way that they dress.
• This type of clothing will compliment the look that our thriller is going for.
Due wanting to portray the girls as innocent, sweet and weak. But the
viewer realises how strong and intelligent the girls actually are.
• On the other hand, the boys are portrayed as confiding in the girls to help
them figure out the mystery that is occurring in the school.
