Important dates
2018 Open Enrollment for Marketplace Health Insurance started on last year and ended
on December, people who got them registered under this Open Enrollment got extra
benefits with the existing health insurance plan. But there were many people who
missed the opportunity; the waiting period is now over as from 1st November the
enrollment for 2019 Marketplace Health Insurance has started, here people can renew
their plans, change or can update their 2018 health plan for 2019. Here is a little
reminder about some important things that need to remember:
 15th December, 2018: It is the last date of enrolling, re-enrolling or changing
plans for 2019 and after this date, insured people can only enroll or change their
plans with a Special Enrollment Period.
 1st January, 2019: Coverage will start for 2019 after paying the first premium. But
before enrolling, insured person should have a look the 2019 plans with price
estimates based on the income; the website has a checklist that tells about
important documents need to show.
