This job involves replacing two heat exchangers. A crane will be used to lift out the old exchangers and install the new ones. Safety equipment and new bolting hardware will be required. Some beams may need to be cut to remove the exchangers. Braces that are cut will need to be replaced with new ones.
1. Job#1
This job is to replace 2 Exchangers.
This job will need hand tools and possibly
need a cutting torch to cut beams to lift out
exchangers. If we have to cut any braces will
need to replace with new braces. Crane will
pull and replace both exchangers.
• Need safety equipment
• Will need new bolting hardware
• Safety line while lifting exchanger Unbolt from Valve

3. Job#2
This job consist of demoing structure and
rebuilding with new structure. Pic 1 of 2
This structure is very rusted and has a lot of
loss slag. This picture only shows one side of
the structure. All four side will need to be
replaced. A lot of the bolts are rusted and
need to be cut with a torch. There is also a
acid line under the structure. (see photo #2)
most of the structure can be cut with torch
but there is a few bolts that can be loosened
by impact. There is also grading that will
ether be replaced or put back, that will
depend on customer. Crane could be used to
demo and erect structure.
• Safety: Mono Goggles, hard hat, chemical
jacket and face shield, fire ext, Tarps,
water hose. Leather Gloves.
• Tools: hand tools, torch, Faceshield

4. Job#2
PIC#2 This picture is of the acid line.
We are not demoing the line acid just
working around it. While working around the
acid line you will need to have acid gear on.

5. Job#3
This job is to replace two Fin Fan Housings.
The Fin Fan Housing has bolts on two sides
that will need to be loosened or cut off.
There are no lifting eyes on the old housings
so you will need to cut holes in the top of
housing to attach your ringing to. The new
housings have lifting eyes so you can use
your ringing on. I would advise to build a
scaffold around housing so the workers have
a safe platform to work off of.
• Safety: Scaffold, Safety Harness, Gloves,
Hard Hat, Safety Glasses
• Tools: Hand tools, torch if needed, rigging
