3. Mr. Jozef Behr not only
explains the production process
within the factory but also
enlightens me with the farming
process too. Basically Mr. Behr
is a farmer from Zimbabwe and
frequently delivers his raw
coffee beans to the factory since
2016 (factory establishment
year).
4. While talking to Mr. Jozef Behr
from Zimbabwe, I got to know that
the Coffee farms in his country
spans over 9500 hectares and most
of the areas belong to the
smallholder farmers. Further in our
conversation, he explains the process
of harvesting coffee. He talked
about the best month to harvest
coffee is from May to September
because the other months of the
year have rainy season.
5. The heat and humidity of summer
season are the most important
factors to make the firm and relish
coffee. We work day and night to
deliver the most aromatic coffee to
the world. This is not just Coffee it’s
our hard-work and effort that make
your every morning so effortless
and energetic.
6. Referring the cultivation of Coffee in Zimbabwe Jozef Behr
further add to the conversation about the process of farming and
harvesting. “Growing coffee is not easy that anyone can do,
behind the farming of coffee it takes a lot of technical knowledge,
if you do something wrong, the coffee tree will let you know
itself. It's now that type of farming that is learn only by seeing
video or hearing someone discussing it.”
7. Zimbabwean coffee is highly aromatic
look likes berries that are medium in
size and density. It has sweet,
chocolaty, woody and winey in taste.
The farmers have to hand-pick the
berries in a basket, wash it thoroughly
and let it sun dry in the open
field. They have to keep an eye on the
berries while sun-drying. After the
berries become properly dry, farmers
pack it up in a basket and then bring it
up to the factories for the final grinding
process.
