RE : Stephen Gunter letter of recommendation
Stephen worked for Jormid as a Project Manager for almost two years. Jormid is considered as
one of Anglo’s preferred Suppliers of construction type work who provide services to maintain
and refurbish open-pit heavy machinery such as draglines, shovels, excavators, drills, stacker
reclaimers as well as coal preparation plants.
Stephen, with the assistance of the Jormid project team successfully completed multiple scratch
free major projects. Stephen was quick to gain experience and during these project executions he
demonstrated a high level of project management and leadership. Stephen always stayed calm
during times of extremely high work pressure and easily, with care and respect, motivated his
team to perform above expectations. Safety and quality was never sacrificed to gain progress.
Stephen was considered reliable and always willing to walk the extra mile with Jormid as well as
with Anglo.
Unfortunately due to the economical down-turn, that we all experience at the moment, Stephen
was retrenched to satisfy retrenchment rules of “last in – first out”. We consider Stephen’s
retrenchment as a true loss of expertise.
Stephen is self-managed and live by strong values. I strongly recommend Stephen in a similar
position for any other work opportunity.
Please do not hesitate to call for any further reference or discussions in this regards.
Yours truly,
