Job Description： 1.Daily System Support,
1.1 Help business users to solve daily system issues, communicating with the 3rd party
technique person abroad to make issue resolved as clear and quick as possible.
1.2 Work together with global related team to build robust application system.
1.3 Work with back-end technique person to maintain the application system.
1.4 Daily application system monitoring, and to check and report issue to 3rd party technique
person.
1.5 Try to help users solve all IT system related questions via any possible ways including not
closely business related system, such as, leverage global resources, or local resources, etc.
2.Quarterly Global New Request Releasement,
2.1 To participate in the global release project team, explicit the scope of responsibility. Define
release scope, and release related time of China, etc.
2.2 Implement system testing with key users.
2.3 Follow up test status, coordinate with all related team members in the project to have issue
solved timely, and well tracked.
2.4 Summarize test results, updating related documents timely and clearly, preparing for the
release go live.
2.5 Emergency handling during testing.
2.6 Organize key users and other team members to do sanitary testing before go-live.
2.7 Follow up infant care after go-live, and efficiently communicate between users and
technique person of what have been found, and to have it tracked till done.
3.Business Requirement Analysis,
3.1 Work with business depts of their business requests, analyze how the current functionality
should be improved so as to better serve their business process, try to see the possibility to
optimize/improve business flow, and resource integration.
3.2 Define user request, work with key users to complete the 'Document User Request.
3.3 Join Global meeting with request owners and global team members, to be a role as inteface
between business and global IT team, provide professional understanding of business value to
global team, and to translate IT language/information for business users, which helps the whole
process be efficient and everybody know how clearly.
3.4 Follow with request development, and go-live.
4.Project related work,
4.1 To participate in the CGL China Company wide project as reginal BU IT, provide related
support including but not limited in support for system testing, go-live, user feedback follow-up,
etc.
4.2 Work with project team to custmize system.
New Learning:
1. SQL language, as business requested, starting to self learning SQL from stratch, now can read
and write SQL, and help users to get data they need via writing sql in toad.
