Abhiraksha Suite
This is a complete general Insurance suite for Indian Insurers & Brokering firms. Due to
regulatory & market changes, Insurance market has become very dynamic & customer
awareness has grown tremendously. Keeping in view the requirements, present & expected
regulatory requirements are built into this portal. This application takes care of entire spectrum of
General Insurance business in India. Multiple interfaces are built to take care of various stake
holders in the business. DMS has been seamlessly integrated to suit the latest requirements of
Insurance companies for faster settlement of claims. This portal addresses Security concerns of
Insurance companies as regards to data binding issues. All data related transactions happen
only through web services with credential authentication at transaction level. Though this
application is a new & self-contained product, it is also built to replace the existing applications by
adopting latest data migration techniques.
Online Insta-Renewal for FORD Customers
TBSS has developed a portal with ‘Renewal’ option for FORD Customers who are interested in
renewing their policy online. This portal is accessible through all the devices such as Mobile,
Tab, Desktop / Laptop. Since ‘Genisys Configurator’ is accessible by only Dealers & ICs, this
facility has been built outside the core system to benefit the customers. This portal
communicates with GC through web services to fetch renewal quotations which are triggered to
customers through SMS with a link for policy renewal online. Once customer clicks on the link,
he will be able to view & accept the renewal proposal before making payment. Payment details

4. along with Proposal details are shared to ICs for generation & subsequent retrieval for policy PDF
for download & printing.
Auto Insurance System
This application aimed at automation of many operations which are out of scope of existing
software, Genisys Configurator developed by CMC/TCS – exclusive customized software for
Motor Insurance policy issuance & claim processing. This application also includes ‘Payout
Module’ - an end to end solution to payout process which is an ongoing month wise billing and
invoicing process where Insurance Companies are billed by TBSS for infrastructure expenses
and by TMIBASL for brokerage charges. The amount so received, is shared among Dealers,
OEM, TMIBASL & TBSS. This automation also helped TBSS to launch the prestigious ‘SAP
Optimization’ aimed at automation of billing & payments of all the clusters without any manual
interference.
PSF Calling Analysis
TBSS conducts satisfaction survey for new & renewal automotive policy buyers of Tata Motors
Insurance on monthly frequency. New policy buyers are contacted through phone and multiple
attempts are made to reach the customer. Questionnaire comprising 9 questions & scale 1 to 10
for quantitative questions is administered on the phone and responses obtained from
respondents who could be reached are recorded. Responses recorded need to be analyzed
based on ability to connect, satisfaction of the customers with regard to agent, dealer and
process. Analysis should also determine efficiencies and effectiveness of processes and to
recognize specific features / sub processes that have a perceived value to the end customer.
Project was successfully implemented and TMI was given access to view the Analysis & all the
reports.

5. Analysis is based on Earned Premium for the given period against Claims reported. As the same
is required by Insurance Companies to submit to regulating authorities for arriving at Solvency
Margin, the analysis is very important. It will also help Insurance companies to aggressively price
their products to capture the market. Analysis focuses on Claim Incidence & Incurred Loss ratio
