I am a Physiotherapist who has completed Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and graduated in Dec’
2003. I have 11years & 10 months of clinical experience in Chennai, India leading a team handling

2. Clinical responsibilities:
 Perform and assist peripheral joint mobilization and manipulation.

 Plan and implement programs of physiotherapy including therapeutic exercise, manipulations,

 Assess the different types of stroke, analyze the problem according to the individual and scheduling a
thorough exercise plan to rehabilitate the person for ADLs and bring back to the near normal life.
 Assess, develop and implement specialized therapy treatment to patients with musculo-skeletal
dysfunction under the supervision of senior therapist.
Pediatric Rehabilitation:
 Strong assessment evaluation and plan for the next development milestones in case of Delayed
milestones in CP
 Designed physical therapy programs individualized to meet children's specific needs, particularly in
autistic children
 Solid understanding of genetic neurological and orthopedic disorders and related motor skills
problems in affected children
 Expert in handling children in case of Soft Tissue injuries& Post Traumatic Stiffness
 Applied passive exercises, active assisted exercises, physio ball exercises, standing training (with
support, without support) and walking training on them in an effective manner with care, which
resulted in improvement in their delayed milestones. Stretching given when there is tightness of
muscles of limbs.
 Provided education to parents about at-home exercises to do with children.

3. Ortho and Neuro Rehabilitation:
 Dealt with many Orthopedic patients with pre & post traumatic conditions and different disabilities
like OA, RA, CS, LBA and PAS using electrical modalities and physical exercises which includes
Isometrics and Strengthening exercises.
 Neuro cases such as Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, Bell’s palsy, Carpal tunnel syndrome, Tennis elbow,
Foot drop etc.
 Gait training and Co-ordination exercises for Parkinson’s patients.
Sports Conditions:
 Dealt with many sports injury patients such as ACL Injuries, Ligament sprains, dislocations, Muscle
strains etc. and also have given strengthening exercises to the weak muscles and toned them.
Fitness Training:
 Focused on weight reduction and trained the patients to effectively use the equipments like
Treadmill, Orbitrek, Twisters, Dumbbells, etc.
 Advising the patients to continue with physical active exercises for all parts of the body. (both limbs,
abdomen (core exercises), upper back and lower back) along with diet chart and regular reviews.
Home Care:
 Home visits of disabled persons, bedridden patients as well as Geriatric patients and rehabilitated
them.
