2. OUR STORY
What’s a “Perch”? And what’s with the birds and
chairs and tables, anyway? It’s all part of the
Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement
Association’s public spaces initiative. We want the
public areas of downtown Vancouver to be lively,
welcoming, and accessible to all. Lot 19 was our
first Perch, kicked off in 2013. Since then we’ve
been putting out tables and chairs, hosting fun
activities, and engaging with you folks to help
shape this space for the future. We hope you
enjoy. Now kick back, relax and enjoy the beautiful
