Description : Implementation prototype (Carpet Industries)
Process modifications according to Carpet industries.
1. Added a Legacy system order reference fields, which is used to create a cross
reference between the each line of an Axapta quote or order, with the Legacy system
order and line to which it is linked.
2. Added a field to the sales order line table, which allow Axapta to associate a contract
number to a given quotation or sales order line.
3. Modification to rename an existing inventory dimension.
4. To add a new set of attribute values to the “Patterns” inventory dimension form.
5. Modification to add fields to the sales order line table, which allow users to associate
rejection reasons and text to a given quotation or sales order line.
6. Modification to build functionality that will allow administrators to define restricted items
and then to define the set of customers that are allowed to order those items.
7. Modification to give end users an easy way to associate buyers to customers and then
to add those buyers to sales orders.
8. Modification to give end users the ability to associate Style attributes to reinforcement
items. Reinforcement items can be identified by the fact that their Item group will
always be “Reinf”.
9. Modification to give end users the ability to associate reinforcement attributes to
reinforcement items. Reinforcement items can be identified by the fact that their Family
will always be “Fabric”.
10. Modification to add field to the item master (Inventtable) to indicate if an item is standard
or non-standard.
11. Modification to add a set of additional fields to the item master. The fields are used to
define the product structure i.e. Pattern, width, etc..

2. 12. Modification to give end users the ability to associate attributes to honeycomb items.
Honeycomb items can be identified by the fact that their item Family will always be
“Metallic Core” or “Non-Metallic core”.
13. Modification to add a new field to the sales order line table, which allow users maintain
a scheduled date in sales order line in addition to requested delivery date.
14. Modification to add the product structure fields from CR to the look-up options that a
user sees when they drill into the item field.
15. Certificate of conformity: Create X++ Report, similar in detail to the dispatch/delivery
note, but with a heading of “Certificate of Conformity”.
16. Sales Outstanding (AX report): Show quantities at every life cycle of sales order.

Description : Implementation prototype customizations (Glass industries)
Sales / Purchase process modifications according to Glass industries.
1. Rename Quantity field as Actual Quantity in Sales Order Details and Sales Quotation
Details.
2. Added new fields as chargeable Height, chargeable Width and chargeable Quantity on
Sales Quotation Details.
3. Created sales group and added at Customer Master and this flow to Sale Quotation and
Sale Order and based on this Chargeable Height/ Width Chargeable Quantity will be
calculated.
4. Parent Customer should show in red color and child in green. Other customer should
show in Normal black.
5. Purchase Invoice modification: Added new fields, menu items, checkboxes, buttons
and modified various labels and classes accordingly.
6. Added a new field as 'no. of pcs' in inventory transaction, purchase and sale. Quantity
should be calculated automatically by the Formula (height X width X No. of
Pcs/1000000).
7. Added a new Check box “Pcs Rate”. If Pcs Rate check box is marked then the sale
price will be calculated by unit Price X no. of Pcs.
