MEET THE NEW TEEN AMBASSADORS
CORONA, CA (May 3, 2012) – The 10 new Dos Lagos Teen Ambassadors selected at the finals
event at The Shops at Dos Lagos on Wednesday night are outstanding role models for their
peers. The 2013-14 Dos Lagos Teen Ambassadors are Alexander Longazo from Centennial
High School and Remaya Campbell, Marissa Correa, Gabby Gonta, Megan Murlin, Lauren
Renteria, Bryce Tecson, Josh Velasquez, Brian Villalobos and Bethany Yarbrough from
Santiago High School.
The teens will serve a one year term to represent their schools in community and special event
programs at The Shops at Dos Lagos, located on Temescal Canyon Road between Weirick Road
and Cajalco Road, just off the I-15 in Corona. They will gain business, communication and
marketing skills; earn community service hours and be paid as special event hosts at the center.
The new Dos Lagos Teen Ambassadors, six females and four males, will be high school seniors
during the fall school term. The selection panel had a daunting task to select the 10 new Dos
Lagos Teen Ambassadors from the outstanding 25 finalists. The finalists each received a free
$20 Dos Lagos Gift Card to shop for items which reflected their personality, interests and style
before they went on stage to present their purchases to the selection panel and a cheering Dos
Lagos Amphitheater audience. Each of the new Dos Lagos Teen Ambassadors received a $50
Dos Lagos Gift Card.
