screening

The
angle
and
frequency
of
half
tone
dots
in
conventional
AM
screens
can
cause
subject
moire,
screening
moire
and
unstable
rosette
structures.
Additionally,
fewer
and
larger
minimum
dot
sizes
in
highlights
and
shadows
in
AM
screens
can
result
in
loss
of
detail
and
increase
in
graininess.
