2. MEANING OF PARDON
• MEANING #1 an act of officially saying that
someone who was judged to be guilty of a
crime will be allowed to go free and will not
be punished. : forgiveness for something.

• MEANING #2
To allow (an offense or fault) to pass without
• punishment or disfavor.

3. GUILTY, INNOCENT OR NOT GUILTY
• WE ARE GUILTY
• ROMANS 3:23 “ For all have sinned, and come
short of the glory of God”
• ROMANS 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.

4. AT THE JUDGMENT, THE TRIAL IS
OVER
• HEBREWS 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto
men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
• II CORINTHIANS 5:10 For we must all appear
before the judgment seat of Christ; that every
one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be
good or bad.

• INNOCENT WHEN BORN
• (MATTHEW 18:3), “EXCEPT YE BECOME AS LITTLE
CHILDREN”
• (EZEKIEL 18:20) “The soul that sinneth, it shall
die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the
father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity
of the son: the righteousness of the righteous
shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the
wicked shall be upon him.”

• A. TO THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER KNOW HIM.
1. HEAR, BELIEVE, REPENT, CONFESS, BE
BAPTIZED
(ROMANS 10:17, JOHN 3:16, ACTS 8:37, 38)

8. HOW DO WE KNOW WHEN THE
TIME COMES?
• NO PARTICULAR AGE:
• WHEN GUILTY OF SIN:
• BAPTISM IS FOR REMISSION OF SINS: (ACTS 2:38)
• DO YOU KNOW WHAT SIN IS?
• HAVE YOU COMMITTED ANY?
• CAN YOU IDENTIFY SIN IN YOUR LIFE?

9. DO YOU UNDERSTAND JESUS?
• BORN OF A VIRGIN (MATTHEW 1:23)
• LIVED A SINLESS LIFE (HEBREWS 4:15)
• DIED AND RAISED FROM THE DEAD
• DO YOU BELIEVE THE ABOVE?

10. IF OLD ENOUGH TO BE BAPTIZED
• YOU ARE…
• OLD ENOUGH TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
• OLD ENOUGH TO SAY NO TO THINGS WRONG
• OLD ENOUGH TO ACT LIKE A CHRISTIAN
DURING WORSHIP.
• LISTEN TO THE SERMON, LISTEN TO THE
PRAYERS, THINK ABOUT THE SACRIFICE OF
JESUS.

11. IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN BAPTIZED
YOU MUST BE PARDONED
• MARK 16:16 “He that believeth and is
baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned”.
• BUT TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN BAPTIZED…

12. GOD’S SECOND LAW OF PARDON
• REPENT AND PRAY:
• (ACTS 8:22) Repent therefore of this thy
wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the
thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
