This letter serves to confirm that Shaun Mossop worked for KPMG Digital as a contractor to
our company from 1 July 2016 to 4 November 2016. In this time, he was responsible for
developing a range of webapps for our Digital Platform as well as assisting with various aspects
of other projects being delivered. Our platform is based on the MVC6 construct and required
advanced skills in C# development – skills which Shaun very quickly adopted and put to good
use.
Shaun is clearly passionate about writing code and solving clients’ problems. He has
tremendous potential and proved his ability to quickly adapt to new programming patterns and
technologies. He is friendly, easy to get along with, well-liked by the clients who interacted with
him and respected by his co-workers.
Shaun’s work style is to focus on the project at hand and he is not easily distracted. He
comprehends instructions quickly and is flexible when changes have to be made to the original
plan.
Shaun is dedicated to providing quality work. He checks and rechecks his software before
turning it in for presentation to the client. He strives to make his programs as user friendly as
possible understanding that not everyone is an expert programmer. He is detail oriented and the
products produced had very few bugs or snags that needed rectification.
Shaun is more than a software developer though. Prior to his departure, we asked him to
participate in the initial launch of our digital platform to the KPMG organisation. He provided a
lot of assistance in the set up and conducting of the launch event and was most effective in
demonstrating the product to new users. We received many compliments from users on his
presentation skills, friendly and patient approach and his overall knowledge of our product end-
to-end.
He will be greatly missed at KPMG Digital but we know he will succeed on whatever project he
is placed in future.
