2. Abstract
There has been a significant amount of incidences reported in
workplace bullying among the nursing staff in healthcare. Therefore,
this proposal was designed to help educate & support nurses in
reporting workplace bullying. It was also created to decrease
negative behaviors in the healthcare setting. By meeting with the staff
members of Fresenius Medical Center the proposal offers them
guidance to handle workplace bullying situations more effectively.
Overall, the goal was successful with many of the participants
committing to be against workplace bullying in the future.

Workplace bullying has affected nurses
worldwide in the healthcare system with
a decrease in employee satisfaction,
reduction of nursing excellence in
patient care, and increase in attrition
rates.
6. Purpose
The purpose of this proposal was
to support, diminish negative behaviors, and assist
employees with the effects of
workplace bullying.
