Coach Shanice Billington was born on April 30, 1988 in Hartford, CT. She is the first
signee in Indiana University of Bloomington history to hail from the state of
Connecticut. While attending Indiana University she studied Business Management
and Finance.
Objective:
My goals as mentor and coach, is to help develop prepared, skilled and confident
student athletes with the ability to apply these learned skills to real life situations.

Coach Shanice is known around Hartford for helping to lead Bulkeley High School to a Class L State Championship
in 2006 with a 26-1 record. That year she also earned Gatorade Player of the Year honors her senior season and
was a McDonalds High School All-American nominee.
After High School, Coach Shanice moved around a bit during her college career, while away Coach Shanice
experienced the Big Ten Conference and NIT Tournament at Indiana University. In Casper, WY she led her team to
the NJCAA National Tournament in Salina, Kansas; where they placed 3
rd
!
