Sam Altman (21..), Elon Musk, John Schulman, and Wojciech Zaremba.
Started working on natural language processing
Released GPT-1 in 2018, which was a breakthrough in the field of AI.
GPT-2 in 2019 (better but storage & response problem)
In March 2021, OpenAI released ChatGPT, which is based on the GPT-3.5

Use unsupervised learning, means model learns from the data without
being explicitly told what to do.
