my name is Scott Schranz.
After spending the last 15 years working for the Buffalo Sabres of
the NHL, I am looking to get back to my roots and my true passion.
The Fine Arts and Graphic Design in particular have always been
something I've loved doing.
After receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Daemen College
in 2001, I found immediate employment with the Buffalo Sabres.
In my position(s) with the team, I found ways to utilize my skills as a
graphic designer. I worked on projects that included: Editor of the
Game Night magazine, designing the cover of the post season media
guide as well as advertisements for the Game Night magazine and media
guide.
After moving into the Hockey Department I continued to use my art and
computer skills by creating, designing and updating our player
development website, producing our welcome package for recently
drafted players as well as creating & designing our quarterly scouting
meeting briefs.
I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and consider myself to
be a professional, respectful, loyal, hard working individual who will
go the extra yard to make sure the job gets done not only on time, but
above expectations.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my cover letter
and look through my portfolio. I look forward to any future
opportunities of speaking with you about my qualifications and what I
can bring to your organization.
