Description:
Design, develop and support monitoring solutions based on BMC Patrol (BPPM) and Splunk.
Installation, Configuration and deployment of Splunk Enterprise with knowledge about the various
components in Splunk Cluster such as Indexers, Forwarders, Search heads, Collection Tiers and
Deployment Server. Analysis of logs using Splunk via Reports and Dashboards.
Responsibilities:

 Perform data on-boarding from multiple sources like server , network and application logs and
configure data forwarding in Splunk Enterprise using Splunk forwarder Deployment .
 Deployment of Splunk apps using Splunk deployment server and experience on Splunk
configurations using CLI , S.O.S and Distributed Management Console.
 Data Integration of Splunk with RDBMS using Splunk DB Connect and Integration of Splunk to Event
Management tool such as Netcool.
 Configuration of Splunk-Hunk to access data stored in Cloudera Hadoop( HDFS Filesytem).

Resolution Date) approaches, a reminder would be occurring to the assignee irrespective of his
acceptance. Utilized BMC Remedy .dll in order to fetch the data pertaining to the user. Utilized
Exchange API to interact with Exchange server in order to push a Meeting invite into a user’s
calendar.

 A Festival RegistrationWebsite:
This was developed as a training project work at CSC. The project was based on a Web based Event
management application, where the co-ordinator will be able to register multiple events, and customers
can register themselves up for those events.
