CLASSES – Most classes work for a beginner. If you have any
question about age or skill level, please ask! Sewing is fun and so
rewarding to make things you can use, give as gifts & decorate
with. The best place to start is with what looks interesting to YOU.
We also offer Private & Group Lessons for projects not listed. When
you are taking a class, you bring your sewing machine, supplies for
your project & YOU! If you prefer, we have machines available to
rent ($10) as well as supplies kits ($20+ depending on project) you
can purchase.

CLASSES–
Sewing Machines rentals available for classes $10/Class. Limited quantity, please reserve in
advance. If you'd rather not have to gather fabric supplies, kits are also available. Supplies Kit
prices noted per class.
Fabric Coasters – These are a quick, fun thing to make a batch of four of and use on your favorite
table! Machine washable & long lasting. We will go over the basics and make as many as
possible. Once you get the hang of these, you can play with construction to make a more quilted
coaster or applique shapes on as well. Perfect gift! Fabric Supplies List emailed upon sign-up.
Class Cost $30
Optional Fabric Supplies Kit $20
Threading your Machine – This is not a project class – we will only be threading and re-threading
the machine. This is a perfect class if you have a sewing kid at home who sometimes needs help
ironing out of a problem OR if you are new to sewing. Usually, re-threading the machine and
starting over can be the magic that gets everyone sewing again… however, takes some time
getting used to and while a student may do fine in class, may have trouble with threading at
home and need your help. We'll go over tips and problem-solving, cleaning and threading your
machine. A must for parents of sewing kids & new to sewing students.
Class Cost $10
Supplies List – Machine, bobbins, thread, fabric scraps
Flannel Pillowcase – A Perfect first-time-sewing class! We will be making a standard-size
pillowcase out of flannel fabric that will be as cozy as it is adorable. You'll be amazed at your
professional seams even if it is your first project! Fabric Supplies List emailed upon sign-up.
Class Cost $30
Optional Supplies Kit $20
Snowman Backpack – Perfect beginner class. This is a drawstring backpack bag that has the
face of a snowman. It is as cute as it is useful. Great gift (if willing to part with the adorableness).
This is a KIT CLASS – the fabric supplies and thread are provided (excluding sewing machine)
Class Cost $60
Fabric Headbands – Because it's fun to wear stuff you make and just as fun to give! Make a FEW!
Fabric Supplies List emailed upon sign-up.
Class Cost $30
Optional Supplies Kit $20
Snowman Pillow – For a cozy, adorable little snowman you can have on your bed or the couch –
a great decoration or gift! This is a KIT CLASS – the fabric supplies and thread are provided as well
as a pillow insert for the cover you will sew (supplies does not include sewing machine).
Class Cost $75
Paper & Felt Ornaments / Toppers – Simple, fun & easy to produce lots!
Class Cost $30
Optional Supplies Kit $20
Machine Basics – A great place to start… or even come back to. Project classes are a learn-as-
you-go… which is really important for the satisfaction of completing something, but taking the time
to learn how to operate your sewing machine and basic functions makes sewing easier.
Flannel PJ Pants – Make a pair of PJ Pants for you! Elastic waist, two-piece pattern… easy & fun.

WINTER CAMP!
Patchwork Squares Quilting – We will meet three times and work on
patchwork quilting. This will be a random organization of patches
and if you would like, you can use old fabrics from clothing, scraps
and fabric items around your house that you are finished with.
Used items can also be collected/purchased with the help of
family and/or at thrift stores. If you prefer to use new fabrics, this is
fine too. You can prepare your squares ahead of time or
purchase a kit.
To prepare your own squares, make a square template using a
piece of computer paper that measures 8"x8". Making sure that it
is perfectly square and measures 8"x8", cut the square out. You
can pin or lay this square on top of your fabric. Cut the fabric
around your square template, close to the edge.
This is a fine class for a beginner, however, as it is a three day class,
there will be a great deal of sewing.
Supplies –
50 8" Squares
Batting 45"x60" low loft, cotton or cotton blend
Backing Fabric 45"x60"
Double-Fold Quilt Binding – 6 pkg or 210"
Order Ahead Supplies Kit Options –
Prepared Squares Kit – $60 (you will bring remaining supplies items)
Complete Supplies Kit – $160
3 Day Class Cost $100
