Brief Overview
I am Graduate Engineer with over 27 years experience in Business Development
Broadly speaking I have been employed in companies working in three industries namely
the ‘Power’ Industry, the ‘Component’ industry and the ‘OA / IT(h/w) / Telecom’ Industry.
Experience
1. ‘OA / IT(h/w) / Telecom’ Industry.
Vide Campus Placement, I joined HCL Ltd. (Repro. Division) in 1985 selling Copiers and
Fax machines to the Central Government ministries and their bodies.
I moved to Unicorp Industries Ltd in 1991 as the ‘Branch Manager’ in Jaipur.
In 1994 I became the Jaipur ‘Head Branch Operations’ of Global Tele-Systems Ltd. Here I
had my first experience of having to SET-UP & START their Jaipur Branch
In 1997 I returned to I.T.(h/w) industry by joining DDE ORG systems Ltd. As their ‘Regional
Manager-West’ based in Mumbai
2 ‘Components’ Industry.
In 1998 I was selected to become the first “Country Manager” of the Delhi based
R.S. Components & Controls (I) Ltd.
UK based RS Components is even now the only Mail order Catalogue company
operating in India and I am proud to one of the people whowas involved in setting it up
and getting it to run professionally and profitably.
3 ‘Power’ Industry.
In 2007, I joined Scot Innovation Wires & Cables Pvt. Ltd as a DGM Sales. My 3
years stay was eventful and when I left ,I was the GM Ops
Bhubaneshwar based Gupta Power Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd was my next employer
where I was the ‘GM North & Northeast’ from 2010.
In 2011 I became the ‘GM Tendering’ of Skoda (India) Pvt. Ltd. This New Delhi based
EPC company operates in the power T&D segment wherein it creates
Substations & Transmission Lines on a turnkey basis.
Since August 2013, I have not been employed with any firm. I decided to take a 2 year
break due to Medical reasons. Now I am ready and willing to resume work and would
like to ask you for an appointment where we can discuss ways and means of going
forward
