Magnetic Current
 Basic history
o Edward L. was born January 12, 1887, and die December 7, 1951
o He, only himself, built the monument knowns as Coral Castle in Florida
o He also did lot of experiment on magnetism and electricity
o Things he had done
 Perpetual motion holder
 Dave Nelson’s commentary on Leedskalnin
 Coral Castle
 Ed’s generator
 Tips for the rocket people
 Procedure
o Bend iron bar to make a U shape
o Wind several turns of insulated copper on a side of the U shape
o Connect the battery with the coils
o When the coils are connected to the battery, the iron now act as a magnet and it
will attract to other iron (not a magnet).
o However, this will create a magnetic current inside the circle, this will continue
even disconnect the battery.
o To check if the circle has magnetic current
 Connect it with the light bulb
 Then quickly pull of the long bar
 The bulb will light for a movement
 This experiment show that if we start the North and South Pole individual
magnets in an orbit, then they will never stop.
