“We feel that this service will provide a no excuse solution to drinking
and driving from games. We regard the Buffalo Bills as a leader in the
NFL for responsible drinking,” says Michael Mule, CEO of Designated
Drivers of Buffalo.
Mike Mule’, co-founder of Designated Drivers of
Buffalo, thought of the idea of a designated driv-
ers program while working as a bartender for a
local bar.
Mule said, “I was in the restaurant and bar indus-
try for about 15 years, and what I found was that
a lot of people were deciding to drive their car
home because of the fact that they needed it in
the morning.”
They drove home drunk and put themselves and
others at risk. He wanted to make a difference and
change our community. He shared his idea with
Phillip Basile now C.F.O. of DDoB and together
founded Designated Drivers of Buffalo in 2008.
Phillip Basile has an M.B.A. from Saint Bonaventure
University and over ten years of sales and marketing
experience. DDoB has been verbally endorsed by
MADD Mothers against drunk driving and will be
partnering with the Law Offices of Willam Mattar
to offer its third annual free rides home on New
Year’s Eve Program.

you have been out drinking and need a ride home, Designated Drivers of Buf-
falo sends out a trained team of drivers to get you and your car home safely.
