This recommendation letter is written in support of Samal Shandakova, a third year student at Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, to apply for the Chievining Program. The professor witnessed Samal's tremendous growth in her courses on Basic English and Informative Translation, where she showed good results through class participation and successfully completed the courses. Samal quickly learned to manage her time well, work in groups, and recognize the importance of a strong work ethic. She has become a role model for her peers and is very active in student organizations. Dear Committee Members,
It’s pleasure for me to write a recommendation letter in support of my student Samal
shandakova. Iwould liketo recommend Samal, a student of third year of Kazakh Humanitarian
Law University, to apply for Chievining Program. Samal has taken two my courses: “Basic
English” and “Informative Translation”. During which time I witnessed her tremendous growth
and development. This deeeeeeevelopment came not only in the area of educational achievement
and leadership, but in maturity and character as well. She showed good results in terms of
participation to discussions that lead to a good grade. Samal ultimately did well and was able to
complete the courses succesfully. I have always been amazed by how quickly she takes grasp oh
humanities, and I am sure she will finish university with distinction marks. She is a student of
some ability and is very willing to work hard to succeed.
Samal quickly learned to manage her time, work in a group and recognize the importance of a
strong worh ethic, persistence, and intellectual integrity. She has long since become the most
valuable member of my student-club team, and a role model for her group mates and other
students at university. As to other factors related to the Chievining Program, as noted, she is very
active in student organizations and has a very euthusiastic personility. Additionally, having
reviewed her academic record, I think that I have a fair idea of her overall abilities and potential.
Samal is a highly motivated and mature person and I highly recomend her for Chievening
Program with total confidience. She has made me proud, as her teacher, I am sure she will
