Meeting Objectives:
To decide upon a suitable subject matter for the filming of a documentary.
To decide upon a production company name
To get our website partially created to allow individual access to our own pages.
For our first group meeting we all brought in newspapers (local and national) so that we could
explore them to find ideas for a documentary.
We explored social issues and injustices that we felt needed addressing however we felt that most
issues worth addressing already had been or were being addressed by someone. We also used the
internet to seek a suitable subject matter for the documentary but found nothing prominent that we
wanted to use that would be possible on our limited budget, equipment and expenses.
We decided after over an hour of searching that we should reconsider ideas, develop new ones and
schedule a new meeting to determine the subject matter for the documentary as we were
indecisive.
Group name:
We brainstormed a lot of group names – here are a few:

Plasma Productions MadHatter Productions
RACKET 360 Productions
Company Names
Insomnia
SEA Productions
2. We used Big Window Productions because it is symbolic and can represent alternate meanings such
as having a window of opportunity or looking through a window and being able to see true
representations of outside.
YOLA
We created the homepage of our YOLA website today and we added individual pages which were
linked to the homepage allowing ease of access and meaning that we could edit our website from
home with immediate effect.
