and plastic. Also three different types of radio frequency
die-cutting machines for plastics.
After 13 years of setting-up, running, and trouble shooting some
of the most challenging jobs on these machines, I was asked to
take a position as Department Manager. This required me to be
responsible for any and all operations within the department,
including the design and ordering of tooling.
Managed the department successfully from 2005 until 2014,
making many improvements in efficiencies including: inline
embossing with die­cutting, combination stamp/emboss in one
pass, blanking of plastics, hot and cold die-cutting of plastics, and
micro-debossing. The main customer base was the cosmetic
i n d u s t r y .
Helped to develop and stream-line many of the
day to day tasks within the production part of the
company.
Acting Safety team Coordinator from 1997 through 2014, I was
responsible for the implementing and training of employees for
safe job practices.
