• Sarcasm Detection in Amazon Product Reviews: Designed and developed an algorithm using NLP techniques and
SVM classifier to recognize sarcasm in an online product review, achieving an F-score of greater than 80%.
• Customer Tone Application: An industrial team project, where we designed an application which analyzes the intensity
of sentiments of the customers and notifies the concerned company agents to respond to the problem.
• ColorNet (Ongoing): A deep neural encoder-decoder network to convert a grayscale image to the corresponding color
image, implemented using the keras framework in python and transfer learning using a pre-trained ImageResNet.
• Image Caption Generator (Ongoing): A deep neural network based on the idea proposed by Vinyals (2015) to generate
text description of an input image, implemented using the keras framework in python and using CNN and RNN layers.
• Text Reader and Translator: An android app which reads text in any Latin based script from an image using OCR
and translates it to English language, if the text detected is in a foreign language, using OCR and Yandex API.
• Milk Management System: A desktop based GUI application which enables milk farmers to sell milk directly to
collection agents, with JavaFx in front-end and MySQL database in back-end.
• Stock Market Clustering: An unsupervised machine learning model to group companies into different clusters based
on historical stock movements, using K-Means algorithm and various tools such as sklearn, pandas and matplotlib.
