Advanced Yoga Classes Demonstration By Sadhak Anshit
1. Padma Mayurasana
Padma Mayurasana is an advanced yoga posture that combines Padmasana
with Mayurasana. It's also known as Lotus Peacock Pose. If the practitioner
is able to comfortably sit in Padmasana, Padma Mayurasana is easier to
perform than the basic Mayurasana Pose.
2. Bakasana (Crow Pose)
Bakāsana, often used interchangeably with Kakasana is an asana. In all
variations, Crane/Crow is an arm balancing asana in which hands are planted
on the floor, shins rest upon upper arms, and feet lift up

4. HandStand
A handstand is the act of supporting the body in a stable, inverted vertical
position by balancing on the hands. In a basic handstand the body is held
straight with arms and legs fully extended, with hands spaced approximately
shoulder-width apart.
5. Lizard Pose
Lizard Pose is a great stretch for the hip flexors, the hamstrings, and the
quadriceps. Incorporating Lizard into your yoga practice can help to improve
the flexibility of your hip ligaments and strengthen the muscles in your legs
One Legged Crow Pose Variation
Arm balances have long been my favorite kind of pose to practice, with one
notable exception: eka pada bakasana (one-legged crow pose)1—specifically,
eka pada bakasana B, in which one knee is propped up on its corresponding
upper arm (as in crow pose), and the opposite leg is extended back.

7. DWI-PADA KANDHARASANA
DWI-PADA KANDHARASANA is an advanced inverted forwardbend and resting posture
that requiresa greatdeal of flexibility in the hips, legs and back. The term comes from the
Sanskrit, DWI, meaning “two”; PADA, meaning “feet”; KANDHA, meaning“shoulder”;
and asana,which means“posture” or“pose.
Moon Bird Yoga Pose – Chakorasana
8. Moon bird pose is an advanced arm-balancing and leg-behind-the-head
posture that requires strength in the arms and shoulders, as well as
flexibility, particularly in the hips and legs.
In moon bird pose, one leg wraps under the arm and behind the neck, while
the other leg extends to the sky. With the palms pressing into the ground
alongside the hips, both arms straighten, lifting the body off the mat.
The pose is also known by its Sanskrit name, chakorasana. In Hindu
mythology, the chakora is a bird that lives on the light beams from the moon.
