Telecom connections
Description of the project:
Telecom Connections is a web based application through which user can effectively use the
benefits of Telephone Provider. In this application user can apply telephone connections
online and he can view his telephone bills and user can also launch compliments regarding
his telephone. He can also give feedback. Here user can view different plans provided by
the Telecom Company. In this application or the project we are automating the manual of
existing system, in which user had to go personally for applying for the new connections
and need to submit the verification proofs , and had to wait for the approval from the
telecom company , also if connection is approved for the user, he need to wait for the
telephone bill. All this process we are automating in our telecom connections project, in
which we will maintain the website for the users , who wish to apply for the new
connection. First they need to register into our website, once registered can use our
website and can apply for new connection, by submitting some documents online.
In our application, we have two modules User and Admin. User is the one , who will use
our website in order to use the facilities provided by our application. He/she just apply for
new connection and waits for the approval. On the other hand , Admin will checks all the
new connections request from the customers, sends the customer details to the company,
once company approves the details provided by user, will send some numbers to the
admin, who will assign the telephone numbers to the user from the available numbers. Also
Admin will maintains the whole site all the updations regarding the telephone plans,
assigning telephone numbers to users, Bill info are maintained by the admin only.

2. Mini Project Abstract
Existing system:
In existing system user has no option of online. He has to go to telecom office to perform
any actions. To apply for new connections or to launch any type of complaints etc.., in order
to know any new plans user has to visit office or he need to call their customer supports for
any further info on that. That means in the existing system the functionality will be done in
manual way, so if user need to apply for new connection , he/she need to approach the
telecom office manually and need to submit the proofs of documents and have to wait for
approval. But its not so easy for the one , who are very busy with their works , because they
don’t know whether after going also, if no work is done , than it will come out with their
frustration. So in order to avoid the manual work we are proposing the new system.
Proposed system:
By analyzing the needs of users from the existing system, we have developed a new system
in the form of web application in which user will get registered into our web site and later
on use the services of our website, the services such as applying for a new connection,
viewing the bill information, sending the feedback and giving the complaints regarding the
telecom company. That means our proposed project gives the complete info where user can
directly apply the phone connections, he can launch compliments he can also view all the
latest plans in detail. He can also give feedback on the services provided by the telecom
company. He can view his bill details online.

In this project user is provided with a powerful
search option where he can search and view different plans provided by the telecom
company. He can launch his compliments. He can also view his bill details. User is provided
with an option of changing of address, here user can also apply for change of address. In
order to access our site user has to register with us. User can also give feedback. This
feedback is viewed by the admin to take necessary steps.
2. Admin:
Admin features include the following:
Admin is the owner of our application admin
can view and modify the data in our application. Admin assigns new telephone numbers to
the users. Admin can view all the feedback given by the users. Admin adds all the telephone
plans in our application. He can view all the compliments posted by the user and take
necessary actions.
