1. Title: EACH DAY
Thoughts (from personal experience of >40 days at home)
Questions (to me):
1) How much time I am spending on web series EACH DAY?
- (Some are addictive and it becomes marathon)
2) What's my mobile screentime EACH DAY?
(Well, expected to increase as we are at home)
3) What's the value add and contribution EACH DAY?
(can be to family, employer, society or yourself)
Answers (from personal experience):
1) I did it. Well, frankly it isn’t bad to watch a movie or a series but we can limit it and not make
it marathon, disturbing our routine and sleep patters. I have stopped watching as you say
#trending
#recommended series and watch very few of my choice (mostly movies because it gets over in
100 minutes typically)
2) I did it. I lowered my screentime 35% in last few weeks as compared to initial 3 weeks of
lockdown. But what did I do? - I started reading books, studying, focusing on my hobby and
there are thousands of things to do.
3) Yes, I did it. To myself, I attained a professional certification and started studying for others. I
intend to help others primarily related to my profession if not other things.
The reason of sharing this is to request each of you to ask the same to yourself (and other
such relevant questions not mentioned) and try to answer (to yourself) and see where we
stand.
I am sure there would be a scope of improvement. We can do better, manage our schedule better,
manager our work better, manager our relationships better and list goes on.
There is still almost two weeks left for a change - to change the patterns how we live EACH
DAY.
