Some ideas for a short film project.

1. A child is instructed to
perform various tasks
by a face on their TV
screen.
The face is apparently
friendly at first but gets
more menacing as the
film progresses.
The face has
supernatural
powers and can
see the
memories of the
child.
Very surreal
visual style when
showing
memories.
The faces
intentions aren't
very clear. The
ending would be
ambiguous.
Horror
Everything goes wrong
for one guy one day
until he discovers time
travel.
The machine can
only go back only
go back to the
same time but
the location can
change.
The guy keeps screwing
things up and must
avoid interacting with
his past selves.
The initial problem
gets more and
more complicated
until time is at risk
of braking.
Comedy
Thriller
An alien fungus
arrives on earth
and takes over a
human host.
The fungus
moves from
body to body.
Old hosts die
when the
fungus
moves.
The host is still
aware inside
whilst the
fungus uses
their body.
With every host
the fungus gets
more intelligent
and behaves
more human
like.
UNIT 22
Sci-Fi
A high school is
slowly over taken
by a shape
shifting alien
race.
Influences include “Invasion
of The Body Snatchers,”
“Under the Skin’” and “The
Thing.”
The aliens
identities are
rarely known.
The aliens eyes
glow and stand still
when a human isn't
around.
The film ends
with the main
character sitting
at lunch, but
unsure if
whether he's
surrounded by
aliens.
