We hereby certify that
Rui Hassenkam Serzedelo was employed as a consultant by Als Research
(http://www.alsresearch.dk/english), in Denmark, from 15 May to 1 October 2011.
He was responsible for carrying out the research required for a mid-term evaluation of the
educational programme and public service Lektier Online. It is an initiative by the Danish
government to provide digital and online homework assistance for ‘underprivileged’ or ‘socially
exposed’ school pupils. The purpose of the evaluation was to measure the relevance of the
programme, its succes and point out necessary adjustments before the allocation of new
resources.
Rui's tasks comprised/ emcompassed:
− establishing dialogue and network with all involved parts, especially the coordinators of
the project
− elaborating interview questionnaires and evaluation criteria
− carrying out interviews and telephone inquiries
− collecting and analysing data
− proposing conclusions and recommendations
