SCENE 1,INT NICK'S ROOM
Titles roll as a news story of recent superhero activities
being talked about by a news anchor on a small TV/computer,
slowly zooming out into Nick's room, showing posters and
memorabilia of superhero's and villains.
NEWS ANCHOR
Tonight's top story, the Duke of
Justice strikes again as we can see
him on this footage provided for us,
this is the sixth consecutive time
he's intercepted a bank robbery here
in London.
Manny are still speculating as to who
the Duke of Justice is, however, the
UN's new department, the United
Nations Anti Criminal Taskforce,
UNACT, has refused to make any
comments on their main poster boy's
secret identity.
As the camera pans around Nick's room we finally see Nick
himself near his wardrobe getting changed into a makeshift
costume, very excited, we then cut to Nick's sister walking
into his room without warning.
NICKS SISTER
Hey, bro lunch's read-, oh for god's
sake again Nick?
Nick looks back to his sister surprised and spooked by her
sudden appearance.
NICK
Jesus christ do you not know how to
knock?!
NICKS SISTER
I'm not sure if you've noticed or
not, but we don't exactly have
superpower genes, or have any money
to buy gadgets and shit, you're not
becoming

a superhero just because you have a
shit costume!
NICK
I know, I know it's just... I like
dressing up ok? Can you just tell mum
ill be down in a sec?
NICKS SISTER
Just think about it, ok bro? Jesus
people will think you're such a dork
if you keep dressing up like this,
see you in a sec...
Nick's sister leaves the room to head downstairs as Nick
sighs in frustration and looks to his mirror to admire his
appearance, even going to flex his 'muscles', cut to a close-
up shot edging on the side of his face.
NICK
Today'll be the day Nick... or should
I say?... shit... come on think of
something good, the Fapper!... no no
no... the Fabulous Man! No no no...
you know what? People will give me a
name... that's how the great ones get
their names...
SCENE 2, EXT OUTSIDE HOUSE
Nick opens the door to the outside of his house, and
directly walks up to the camera and looks directly into the
lens and say's whilst in costume. (With some cliche superhero-
like music in the background)
NICK
Let's do this...
Immediately cut to a shot of Nick awkwardly standing on the
bus in costume, looking around before sighing and getting
his phone out.
SCENE 3, EXT ROOFTOP
Nick is kneeling down on the rooftop looking out to the
streets, sighing noticing that his hope-filled crusade
against crime may be more boring than it initially seemed.

NICK
Come on... not that I'm wishing for
crime to happen but shit! I'm dying
of boredom here!
Nick shakes to his head until he looks over toward an
alleyway, seeing a man dragging a resisting woman down into
the said alleyway.
NICK
Oh yeah... it's all coming
together...
Nick immediately rushes off the rooftop and rushes toward
the alley to see the woman now more violently resisting.
SCENE 4, EXT ALLEYWAY
Nick stands at the end of the alley, awkwardly trying to get
into a cool superhero-like stance, Nick soon simply crossing
his arms and shouting.
NICK
Have you ever heard the saying that
crime doesn't pay?
Cut to the mugger's face in a semi close up shot, frowning
at Nick in confusion.
MUGGER
What? Piss off you little gnome.
NICK
Wow... ok, that's just a little
rude... uhm... but this is your final
warning, walk away now, then you and
I can forget this ever happened.
The woman being mugged is still in the grip of the mugger,
looking back and forth to Nick and the Mugger frightened and
somewhat confused.
The mugger gives Nick a deadly stare and then pushes the
woman to the side, the woman then runs off in fear.
MUGGER
Alright... c'mere, I'm gonna make you
wish you forget about this.
The mugger approaches Nick, and Nick pulls up a cocky smirk
from underneath his mask, he goes to approach the mugger in
return and tries to throw a punch at the mugger, only for
the

mugger to easily catch his punch and hit him dead center on
Nick's nose.
Nick falls to the ground and proceeds to get kicked and
kicked again, this continues for some time until police
sirens can be heard in the background, the mugger runs off
in a panic, and Nick tries to get up too and begins limping
toward the exit of the alleyway.
SCENE 5, INT NICKS ROOM
Nick enters his room taking his mask off to reveal a
bloodied and bruised face of Nick, he falls onto his bed and
falls asleep as we cut to black.
Cut to a shot of a plate of food on a table in the morning,
cut to a shot of a bloodied and bruised Nick slouching at
the table looking miserable and defeated, Nick's sister
walks in from behind and gives Nick a pat on his shoulder.
NICKS SISTER
You know... I'm really really tempted
to say that I told you so.
NICK
Oh yeah? What's stopping you eh?
Nicks Sister leans in behind Nick's chair and starts to
lowly talk into his ear.
NICKS SISTER
Nothing, Im going to say it at a time
you least expect it, it may be fifty
years from now when your just talking
about superhero I'm gonna be there to
say those very words.
It could be at anytime, it'll just be
when you least expect it, and you'll
know what I'm talking about...
Nicks sister walks off as Nick simply groans in frustration
wiping his face as you suddenly hear in the background.
NICKS SISTER
But I told you so!
Nick would proceed to face plant into his breakfast meal as
it suddenly cuts to black with the title of the movie
appearnig.
