Version 1.8 of HepatiC is already available. This includes much more data, new treatments and tests. The interface has been improved for ease of use, based on the 3 year daily user experiences of clinicians, research nurses, data collection staff and statisticians. Version 1.8 will imminently be released and presented at the AASLD meeting in Boston. We would like to continue working with you and see how we can further implement HepatiC at your site, for your routine use and research and also to enable you to produce more publications.

2.  HepatiC is now used across the world by clinicians, nurses, data collection staff
and statisticians
 It manages HCV infected patients, from naïve to treated and cured patients
 Booking of hepatocarcinoma cancer (HCC) screening dates at the recommended
6 monthly intervals in advanced liver disease
 All past and current treatments are included, from interferons to the latest
powerful DAAs
 Medical events and comorbidities are recorded, together with common laboratory
(lab) tests required for liver diseases monitoring - drug resistance data can also
be availble
 All non-invasive tests and scoring systems (Metavir, MELD and Child) information
can be collected
 Can be used at a single site or for a network of sites, with secured access and
data permission rights
 Works with a normal computer, web browser (FireFox, Chrome and IE (9.0 and
above), secured internet connection to central server (web settings) or using local
network (local settings)
