Respected Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest for a suitable position in the field of Multimedia and Digital
Signal Processing in your company.
My Professional experience at AllGo Embedded Systems Pvt. Ltd has given me greater insight into the field of
audio codec design, optimization, software development of audio codec’s on various hardware architectures and
on the plug-in development for audio decoders and parsers. In AllGo, I have also worked on video analytic
techniques for surveillance.
It was a great experience for me to have worked in Bio-medical Signal Processing field during my final year
academic project and subsequently publish two conference papers on the same.
Multimedia and Digital Signal Processing has always been my choice ever since my engineering days in PESIT,
Bangalore. I have also involved myself in various events in the college.
All the above experiences have given me the confidence, flexibility and the ability to work with teams to ensure
the growth of the organization. My passion being Multimedia/digital signal processing engineer, I believe your
company would be an apt place to take my career forward.
Thank you for your valuable time and consideration.
Yours Sincerely,
Rohan Baid

ACADEMIC PROJECT
1. Assessment of Vascular Age using PhotoPlethysmoGraph (PPG) Signal (2011-2012) at PESIT, Bangalore
Guide: Dr. Niranjana Krupa, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, PESIT
Description: Variation in the blood flow pattern (PPG Signal) describes the state of health of an individual.
These variations affect the human beings life style directly and/or indirectly. Any onset of the Cardio
Vascular Diseases (CVD) is directly related to these blood flow variations that again depend on different
sets of factors.
Another motivation for exploring the PPG technique was its close relation to the heart signals,
which can be helpful not in assessing the vascular condition but also in many of the other diagnosis areas.
The aim of the project was to explore and implement an efficient PPG technique using suitable
Digital Signal Processing concepts and then using proper classifier to check the performance of the
classification for the known sets of available Healthy and Unhealthy subjects PPG data
