Rodger Bailey has an extensive base of knowledge and skills in the consumer products, sports and entertainment
industries. He has launched several cutting-edge products, represented world-class athletes, raised millions in
sponsorship dollars for a variety of programs, properties and charitable organizations, and owned, produced, televised and
managed hundreds of professional and amateur events around the country. Most recently, he worked directly with the
founders of two startup companies in the consumer products industry that sought to target the active lifestyle marketplace.
The first company, 4id LLC, is a sports identification and safety products business, with merchandise ranging from
personalized id bracelets to an array of LED lighted safety products. In addition to sourcing and establishing an overseas
manufacturing network, Rodger appeared on a reality television show to promote the brand. He established key
relationships with sales organizations, distributors, retailers and eCommerce partners throughout the world to give 4id a
solid foothold in the industry. Results: Exceeded inaugural year sales goals by 50%.
The second company, Auria, LLC, is an electronic products company specializing in sports inspired earphones. At
Auria, Rodger lead and executed all aspects of the consumer product line to establish the company as the leader in athletic
earphones within two years. Additionally, he secured and managed licensing agreements with targeted professional sports
leagues (including MLB, NBA, NHL, and NASCAR), Disney, and colleges and universities throughout the United States.
Results: Increased sales 120% and expanded retail distribution by 220%.
In addition, as the Managing Director and Co-Owner of Penn Oaks Golf Club, Rodger turned around a 40-year old golf
club after orchestrating new ownership and funding, establishing an unprecedented pattern of profit. He spearheaded
the club's sales, marketing, and product offerings, food and beverage, and program development as well as overseeing the
daily management processes of the golf club.
Rodger has over 25 years of diverse sales, sponsorship, media, event marketing, and management
experience. Rodger was Regional Director of Business Development for Simon Property Group, a global leader in retail
real estate ownership, management and development and a S&P100 company. He managed national and regional
properties, including 16 Mills Outlets and 12 properties in PA, OH, NJ & DE to promote Simon Malls as a Marketing Medium
to brands, advertising agencies, and local businesses. His P&L was in excess of $7 million for the region and an additional
$18 million when Mills properties are considered.
In addition, as Director of Business Development at the Active Network, Rodger negotiated the sale of the Public Enterprise
Group to The Active Network, thus creating the nation's largest Municipality and Government Marketing Agency. Under his
guidance, the company secured the exclusive marketing and sponsorship rights to the New York and New Jersey Port
Authority, valued in excess of $50 Million dollars. He negotiated the sale of Summit Sports & Events to Host
Communications. Rodger forged strategic alliances between Lockheed Martin and MasterCard and Enterprise Exchange to
develop a proprietary payment system.
In the mid-nineties, Rodger was the first President of the Arena Football League Properties and developed the first
sales, marketing, licensing and television arm of the League, where franchise fees increased tenfold. During his tenure in
this industry, Rodger held senior management positions with such firms such as The Active Network, Advantage
International (now Octagon), Market Source's (now Alloy), Streetball Partners (now Host Communications). He represented
professional athletes, oversaw hundreds of events, and raised millions of dollars in sports and entertainment sponsorships.
