It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Rochelle Vriesde.
Serving on the faculty of leading universities (e.g Oxford, Michigan, Tsinghua, Tel Aviv), teaching and
supervising numerous graduate (including PhD) students I can testify that Rochelle is one of the best.
She was my student at the course on Globalization and Organization and prove herself of being one
of the best and the most creative students. Her enthusiasm to the subject is backed by substantial
knowledge and insight on the role of globalization in the development of nations. Her knowledge and
diligence would be a great help in pursuing her field research in Cuba and tracing the changing
societal and cultural realm there. Moreover, Rochelle has excellent personal and professional skills.
