providing architecture, design, coding, code testing, and software maintenance services on both
CONUS and OCONUS systems including theater and shipboard systems. System design and
development primarily required Massachusetts General Hospital Utility Multi-Programming System
(MUMPS) coding, code testing, and software maintenance but also included development of web
application user interfaces using HTML/JavaScript.
Direct experience in the deployment and upgrade of hardware and software for DHA medical IT
systems to multiple world-wide destinations. Have been to over 35 Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs)
world-wide to perform hardware and software upgrades.
Direct experience with architecting, designing, developing and deploying software enhancements to
TMIP CHCS – Caché (TC2) to theater based hospitals and clinics including integration of to the Theater
Medical Data Store (TMDS) via the Theater Medical Data Interface (TMDI) system which was formerly
TMIP-J. Expert and direct knowledge of the specific Health Level 7 (HL7) message structures used to
communicate between TC2 and TMDS.
Direct experience providing remote application and database support for the CHCS and TC2 systems
for DHA.
Direct experience and knowledge of the data structures for the laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology
application modules in the CHCS and TC2 systems including the diagnosis, procedure and coding
attributes within these application data dictionaries. Similar and related experience providing support
as the architect and technical lead for the ICD9/10 conversion for the Indian Health Service (IHS) as
well as for the Department of Veteran Affairs Health Administration (VA HAC) Centers Claims
Payments and Eligibility (CP&E) system.

planning, system backup and recovery, performance testing, operating system specific impact
analysis for system upgrades and deployment, hardware upgrade planning and deployment
support, and Cache Database upgrade analysis. Directly supported updates and enhancements to
the CHCS Kernel software and tools software to provide for Cache Database software upgrades
to MTFs world-wide.
