Durrie Bouscaren covers healthcare for St. Louis Public Radio, and her
freelance work can be heard on NPR. She has worked for various public radio
member stations as a stringer, a one-woman bureau and a statehouse reporter.
Bouscaren graduated from Syracuse University in December of 2012.
Samantha Liss is a St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter covering healthcare. She
is a former Business Journal reporter and Patch editor. Liss graduated from
the University of Missouri–Columbia and is a Chicagoland native.
Bernie Frazier, SPHR is the President and Founder of CAREERCompass, LLC, a
speaking and career coaching firm. She also spent 25 years in recruiting and has led
the talent acquisition function for four companies across four industries. Bernie’s
mission is to help people find freedom and fulfillment in their career, and does this
through coaching CEOs to recent college graduates. She is also a sought-after speaker
for businesses and organizations, academic institutions, and professional associations.
Bernie holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Drake University in Des Moines,
IA, is a Senior Professional in Human Resources. In her spare time, she volunteers
her time to conduct job search training for various local charitable organizations and
volunteers in her local community. She also enjoys traveling, reading, spending time
with friends, and a really good meal!

Katie Kormann is the Multimedia Producer at Fox 2 & News 11 She produces
the weekend morning show and midday shows on Mondays. When she’s
not putting the shows together, she works as a backpack reporter - shooting,
editing and writing all of her own stories.
Katie previously worked as a reporter in Fort Smith, AR. She began her
news career as a news writer in Chicago. Katie graduated from Purdue
University with majors in Communication and Psychology and a minor
in Organizational Leadership & Supervision. She earned a Masters in
Journalism from DePaul University in Chicago.
