Our Steelcare division is a leading supplier of warehousing and Value Chain Management solutions. It specializes in the handling,
transportation, transloading and storage of products for the steel and metals industry. We pioneered the term “Class One Facility” by
providing premium warehousing services to the automotive industry. Our Steelcare facilities offer easy access to rail, water, and road
making us a leader in full service logistics with the added benefit of integrated warehousing and transportation capabilities. We are
proud to be Canadian Pacific Railway’s largest transload facility in Canada. Our two Steelcare plants offer more than 200,000 square
feet of warehousing space. The fact that we’re located adjacent to a rail-siding which is serviced by our partner Canadian Pacific
Railway and our close proximity to Highway 403 enable us to quickly retrieve and dispatch product, ultimately resulting in a quicker
turnaround time for our clients.

2. Steelcare Plant 6
This 155,000-square-foot climate/humidity-controlled warehouse boasts clean and worry-free
storage of metal products. Our building’s airlock system ensures that noxious fumes,
environmental debris, dirt, snow and ice stay outside and not inside the facility. All products
are handled by radio-operated cranes, each with a 50 ton capacity and broad speeds up to
300 fpm. This facility has an annual throughput capacity of 4.6 million tons to enable just-in-time
delivery of any product.
Our services at Plant 6 include:

• Barcoding • Coil repair • Oiling cold roll product

Steelcare Plant 19
This facility, boasting a two-high coil storage system, is the only fully automated facility of its
kind in North America. With 80,000 square feet of storage space and 4.3 million tons per year
throughput capacity, it can be run and managed by a single operator. In addition to being
technologically advanced, Steelcare Plant 19 is a leader in environmental sustainability. It was the
first industrial building in Canada to be awarded a LEED CANADA GOLD achievement (Leadership
in Energy and Environmental Design) by the Green Building Council of Canada.
Some of its environmental and sustainability features include:

Careport Plant 20
Careport is a 170,000-square-foot climate-controlled facility, with 6.5 acres of outside storage,
and several building features including 14 dock level doors, rear drive through access, and a
lifting capacity of 62,000 lbs by forklift.
