Based on my discussion with [team leader], and other discussion with the [team name] ([team member 1, 2, 3]), I understand there are two main
challenges that the team faces:
1. Incorporating Digital Transformation into everyday works.
2. Create more deliverables (products / services) based on [team name] role & responsibility.
Therefore it is in my interest to give a showcase of my idea, what I have done to approach a similar challenge, and what I can bring to the team.

Conventional Aerodynamic is mainly aligned with the
analysis of shape and performance design of an aircraft in
early stage of production.
However, in modern business competition, company must
be able to provide a new cash generation method. It also

company in the world.
Aerodynamic is a ‘sexy’ field to tweak and extract raw data
into a business-related insight for commercial purpose.

5. Idea to Generate More Revenue Through Aerodynamic Landscape
Servitization becomes a recent trend adopted by the Aerospace industry. To put it simply, the concept of servitisation is similar to rent the
product, and charge the customer by flight hours or other quantified parameter. Data-driven technology helps to generate the correct price and
redefine relationship with customers.
The detailed idea described in this power point will focus on the business and management approach of the analysis.

operations for airlines. Demanding high manpower
and customization to analyse.
IDEA
Create digital twin for each serial number in
customer’s fleet. The focus of the Digital twin is to
assess the aerodynamic performance analysis. Other
benefit is also possible, but not in the scope of this
power point.

To plan a new / an upgrade of a digitalization initiative, we can
directly apply and analyse the metrics as shown in the picture.
Several other method that I have tried and can be used to analyse
the business impact of the Digital Twin idea:
• “To understand the impact of the idea” => PESTEL
• “To assess the idea’s advantage” => SWOT
• “To analyse the nature of change” => TROPICS
7. Mid Approach : Digital Fit (Show Case)
The idea is to create Digital Twin for each customer’s fleet with a subscription-
based approach.
Aerodynamic is the main focus of this Digital Twin, for customer to have a real-
time monitoring to aerodynamic performance of their aircraft (airframe, wing,
empennage, etc.).
Detailed analysis can be conducted for this idea. In this slide, I’m providing you
what I have done in the past to analyse similar idea of digital transformation
([Product A]) and what I had proposed as a recommendation.
DIGITAL FIT approach was used to analyse the final metrics of the idea.
My analysis for [product A] shows a result of **% of fit into the business
competition, and my proposal add the existing intiative into **% fit. An addition
of **% has a considerably large impact for big company like Airbus. The full study
