2. Community health diagnosis
Community diagnosis is a comprehensive assessment of the state of an entire
community in relation to its social, physical and biological environment. The
purpose of this diagnosis is to determine problems and to set priorities for planning
and developing programs of care for the community.

3. General objective
1. To explore overall health status of the community and its determinants,
mobilize people to identify and prioritize their health problem and conduct
micro health program utilizing locally available resources
Specific objective
1. To outline the geographical aspect and demographic status of the community.
2. To determine the socio-economic condition, gender status and cultural practices
of the community people.
3. To determine the availability, accessibility and utilization of health care
services.
4. To assess the maternal and child health status of the community.

4. 5. To assess the nutritional status of under five years children.
6. To assess the adolescent health status.
7. To assess the reproductive health status.
8. To assess the knowledge, attitude and practices of people on HIV/AIDS, TB, diarrheal
diseases.
9. To conduct MHP on the prioritized needs through community participation based on
locally available resources.

5. Methodology
• Study design: descriptive cross sectional study
• Study area: Bandipur ward no.4, Tanahun district.
• Unit of analysis: household, individual
• Sampling frame: total household(799)
• Sample size: 30% of total household.
• Sampling technique: Stratified proportionate systematic random sampling.
