1. Rinaldo Toglia
RINALDO TOGLIA, tenor, is a versatile performer whose romantic tenor voice has
brought him great success from operatic stages to his popular “solo act.” He is in
great demand not only for his charismatic performances but his commanding
stage presence and charm.
Often referred to as “King of the High C’s,” his voice has been heard throughout
the nation in innumerable regional companies in roles ranging from Rodolfo in La
Bohème to Calàf in Turandot. Equally at home with classical as well as crossover
music, Rinaldo is a popular guest artist in many resorts throughout the country
from Florida to Phoenix.
With “These Three Tenors,” Rinaldo has toured the world as a headliner for
major cruise lines such as Holland America and Cunard. They have recorded four
CD’s, which are on sale at www.these3tenors.com.
Rinaldo has been acknowledged by opera stars such as Marilyn Horne, Leon-
tyne Price and tenor, Robert White, after they attended his concerts. Ms. Horne
praised him with “Bravissimo! Che bella voce!” Leontyne Price’s commentary was
“Una voce incredibile.” Robert White echoed, “Tu cante Dio!”
Rinaldo has performed in many festivals including “Feste! Italiana” in Milwau-
kee, Syracuse, NY, Youngstown, OH, Wheeling, WV, and the “Feast of San. Gen-
naro” in New York’s “Little Italy.” Opera companies include New York Grand
Opera, Manhattan Lyric Opera, and New Jersey State Opera, amongst others.
By popular demand, RInaldo has taken on the role of private teacher, with a few
choice vocalists who will, undoubtedly, make names for themselves in the years
ahead.
