LETTER OF REFERANCE FOR RENEE COWLING
To Whom It May Concern:
1 have worked with LSML-S Renee Cowling over the past nine months as her human resources manager, in that time not only has Renee
proven to a cornerstone of our workforce she has injected new life into a team that was floundering. Renee filled the position of Function
coordinators for the Officers mess here at HMAS Cerberus; she also was responsible for the continuation training ofjunior members of our
team.
In the training arena Renee showed passionate on passing down the skills that she has acquired over the years. Her commitment to
providing the best training to junior members is her goal, knowing that she is responsible in moulding the best sailor possible so they are
able to function out in the fleet;
Renee has brought flare and professionalism to her function coordinators role and in my opinion is one of the best function planners 1 have
see in my seventeen years as a Naval Steward. She worked tirelessly on every detail to achieve the best possible result for our customers.
Her passion for this aspect of her vocation was self evident on how she would engage the costumers fully and made them feel part of the
process and that all their request where met to the best of her ability. She would regularly work out of hours to accomplish these requests,
something that the costumers where not be privytoo but would benefitfrom her efforts. Her executionofthe events ran like clockwork; the
fruit of her labour was well worth itand that was rewarded by the many accolades she received from customers and management.
Most recently she was hand picked to become the Executive OfficersPA, a role that held many challenges. Not only was she able to meet
these hurdles but took on more taskingoutside her parameters with great success.
I would highly recommend Mrs Cowling for any position she is trying to obtain, she is motivated and comes to table with ideas and
solutions that you can work with. Renee has drive and is always thinking of the next step in her work progression, she will make and
outstanding member ofyour team.
