• Adolescent is defined as a group of population aged between 10-19
years
• Adolescent health is a state of complete physical, social, mental
and spiritual well-being of adolescents that will enable them to live
a healthy and harmonious life within a supportive environment in
preparation for optimal health in adulthood.

• Encourage and ensure the development of adolescents in realizing their
responsibilities for health and empower them with appropriate knowledge
and assertive skills to enable them to practise healthy behaviours through
active participation
