Percival Aviation is able to conduct Flammability Tests in its own purpose
built Test Facility. The Test Facility is equipped with Vertical, Horizontal and
Combination burn test equipment, as well as a specimen conditioning cabinet.
All material testing is carried out to the appropriate requirements of
CS25.853. Test results are certified by the Quality Department and approved
by a suitably approved Design Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
The CS25.853(c) App F. Pt 2 Combination flammability testing for seat covers and
foams on passenger, flight deck and cabin attendant seats can be undertaken.

THRESHOLD PLATE
Percival Aviation manufacture a range of
bespoke branded lavatory threshold plates.
The threshold plates can be designed for
any lavatory module and are a unique
product offering.
Percival Aviation can work with
airline customers to manufacture any
bespoke equipment that is required for
the aircraft cabin.
AMENITY RACK
Percival Aviation manufacture a range of Amenity Bars,
the design of which can accommodate any bottle size
and shape specified by an airline. The Amenity Bar can
also feature a locking system so that ‘pump action’
bottles or expensive brands can be accommodated,
leaving them secure within the lavatory.

Percival Aviation worked very closely with
Emirates, to design and manufacture a
component of the highest quality, befitting
of their A380 First Class Cabin.
BRITISH AIRWAYS SPEEDMARQUE
Percival Aviation worked very closely with British Airways to
design and manufacture a polished aluminium ‘Speedmarque’
bulkhead feature befitting of their First Class Cabin.

This is where a component can be
analysed and re-designed to improve the
reliability, cost, availability, colour/airline
branding, or a combination of each.
ARM CAPS
Percival Aviation can manufacture new or
provide a refurbishment service for arm caps
installed on most types of seats in service
today. New arm caps can be manufactured
from self skinning foam or leather. The arm
cap assembly can be refurbished, which
allows for a change of colour and material.

Percival Aviation manufactures a vast range
of ashtrays to meet all installations from
passenger seats to lavatory doors.
OTTOMAN
Percival Aviation
manufacture replacement
plastic components, for
installation in the aircraft
cabin. These components are
designed by Percival Aviation
as an alternative source to the
OEM suppliers.

Percival Aviation manufacture a range of
stowage bag valises for a number of different
products ranging from oxygen masks and
bottles, safety equipment, survival kits, first aid
kits, demo bags and many more.
LIGHT LENS
Percival Aviation can

plastic light lenses, for
installation in the passenger
cabin and lavatories. These
components are designed
by Percival Aviation or are
supplied as an alternative
source to the OEM suppliers.
DOOR ENTRY MAT
Percival Aviation can supply Door Entry
Mats manufactured from a durable wool
loop with rubber backing. Each entry door
mat can have an individual design and
colour way. By installing an entry mat, it is
proven that the main cabin carpet life can
be increased and significantly cleaner, as all
moisture and dirt is left on the entry mat.
LITERATURE
POCKETS
Percival Aviation design and
manufacture replacement
literature pockets and
magazine racks for use on
Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
They are designed to be a
direct replacement for the
factory fit unit, picking up on
the existing mounting points
or can be a bespoke design to
your requirement. They offer
the operator a cost effective
replacement component within
a comfortable lead time.
PASSENGER RESTRAINT KIT
Are your cabin crew subjected to abuse? The need to
have a safe method of restraining passengers has been
at the forefront of safety directives issued by the airlines
and Percival Aviation has been able to support these
requirements with their range of Passenger Restraint Kits.
Each kit can include a variety of restraints, from hand
cuffs, plastic ties and webbing restraints, but the kit can
include any bespoke items requested by the airline and all
packaging is branded with the airlines name and logo.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Percival Aviation distribute the Fire Fighting
Enterprises range of EASA Approved Fire
Extinguishers for use inside the aircraft
cabin. Manufactured as a seamless
aluminium container for strength and
lightness, the fire extinguishers can be
fitted with special nozzles, for protecting
inaccessible areas such as avionics bays,
cargo compartments, etc.
WATER BOTTLE STRAP
Percival Aviation manufacture bottle
holders that are installed in the passenger
cabin, either to our own design or that
specified by the airline.
Percival Aviation provide products for
the aircraft cabin. This can be where a
component has been analysed and re-
designed to improve the reliability, cost,
availability, colour/airline branding, or a
combination of each. Percival Aviation
also provide new designed components in
conjunction with airline specifications.

OHB EXTENSION DOORS
Percival Aviation can engineer a new overhead stowage bin
door that allows passenger bags to be stowed transversely.
Utilising all the OEM hardware and equipment and with no
structure change or new latches, the benefits of these are
simple: passenger ease & boarding turnaround time.

FURNISHINGS
The Percival Aviation Trim Shop
contains probably the highest
skilled upholsterers in the UK and
they are able to produce high
quality products in a number
of different materials, including
leather, fabric and vinyl.

and mattress foams can be supplied and
certified as required.

PASSENGER SEATS
Percival Aviation offer replacement seat covers
and foams for all types of passenger seats, for
both 9G and 16G variants. Working with fabric
and leather, Percival Aviation are able to offer
a ‘like for like’ replacement from our extensive
library of seat cover patterns or in conjunction
with a customer, design and manufacture a new
product for improved comfort or re-branding.
New seat foams can be manufactured to replace
worn uncomfortable cushions, to either the
same density and style, or if it’s a longer life that
you require, then Percival Aviation can provide
pressure mapping and analysis of how an improved
construction can help.
CURTAINS
Percival Aviation has an extensive aircraft curtain
manufacturing capability. Individually designed to meet the
customer requirement, all styles and sizes of curtains can be
manufactured to the customer requirement and produced
with very short lead times and from minimal information. To
compliment this service, Percival Aviation can also design and
manufacture the curtain track and structural attachments,
including the modification paperwork.
LAVATORIES
LAVATORY FLOOR PAN
Percival Aviation manufacture replacement floor pan
assemblies. These offer a cost competitive alternative
to the OEM product. Historically the lavatory floor pan
assemblies are prone to cracking and therefore unable
to stop fluid leaking to the airframe underneath.
Percival Aviation has improved the design to help
enhance the life and reliability of the product.
LAVATORY
MIRROR
Percival Aviation
manufacture replacement
lavatory mirrors for airline
customers across a variety
of aircraft types and
lavatory modules. Using
high quality jet mirror,
replacements mirrors
are tested for impact
and bulkhead separation
loads. Each installation
is supported by a minor
modification and the
lavatory can be additionally
enhanced by the
incorporation of a Percival
Aviation flower vase and
amenity bar.
SOAP DISPENSER
Percival Aviation manufacture a range of Soap
Dispensers, the design of which can accommodate
any bottle size and shape specified by an airline. The
dispenser can also feature a locking system so that
‘pump action’ bottles can be accommodated, leaving
them secure within the lavatory.

Percival Aviation can manufacture replacement plastic
components for inside the lavatory module. These
components provide an alternative source to the
OEM suppliers. Manufactured from quality materials,
the Percival Aviation replacements are directly
interchangeable with the original components.

DOOR MECHANISMS
Percival Aviation manufacture replacement
door locks for stowage’s, wardrobes and
all other types of monuments. Individually
designed to meet the customer requirement,
various lock styles and sizes, can be produced
with very short lead times.
METAL FABRICATED PARTS
Percival Aviation has the capability to manufacture the simplest
of brackets to the complex assembly of a seat centre console.
Having the capability on-site ensures that during repair and
overhaul of interior components, there is the ability to perform
repairs and manufacture new components without impacting
on the turnaround times. Percival Aviation also has an extensive
welding capability.
Percival Aviation has a list of equipment
which ranges from CNC vertical mills,
lathes, CNC sheet metal punching,
bending machines and brake presses.
The Percival Aviation in house
capability is probably one of the most
comprehensive of any company in the
cabin interiors equipment sector.

THE TEAM
NEIL PERCIVAL, CEO
Neil joined the family business “Percival Associates” in 1985 initially as an additional Sales person, but
as the company developed its own range of products in 1990, Neil became the company’s first Quality
Manager. Neil became Managing Director in 1994 when his father passed away and is now CEO, he
remains in that role today. In his spare time Neil likes to play golf.
CHRIS BENCH, MANAGING DIRECTOR
Chris has over 27 years of aircraft engineering experience, which started with an engineering
apprenticeship at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, becoming an A&P engineer within the hangar. Chris
joined Percival Aviation in 2006 as part of the sales team. In August 2014, Chris was promoted to MD.
Chris is a big fan of F1 motor racing.
LES BRIGHT, SALES MANAGER
Les has over 30 years of sales experience both national and international through a variety of disciplines
from retail, distribution and manufacturing working mainly for OEMs. Les joined Percival Aviation in
October 2015 and heads up the Sales Team. Les likes to unwind at his local archery club.
IAN LEECE, OPERATIONS MANAGER
Ian has over 27 years of aircraft engineering experience, which started with an engineering
apprenticeship at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, becoming lead engineer within the hangar. Ian joined
Percival Aviation in September 2012 as a production engineer before becoming production manager. He
was promoted to Operations Manager in July 2013. Ian enjoys a round of golf in his spare time.
DEBORAH PLANT, FINANCE MANAGER
Deborah has worked at Percival Aviation since 2002 and has been working in finance for over 25 years
for various retail, construction and service industries. Deborah joined Percival Aviation as Finance
Assistant before progressing to Finance Manager. In her spare time Deborah can often be seen
supporting her rugby playing son.
JOHN ALLEN, DESIGN OFFICE PROGRAMME MANAGER & HEAD OF AIRWORTHINESS
John has 27 years of aircraft engineering experience which started with an engineering apprenticeship at Monarch
Aircraft Engineering. John spent several years as a freelance engineer carrying out aircraft repairs and interior
reconfigurations. He then moved to the Design Office at Gulfstream Aerospace, from there he went to Pall Europe
to gain them their 21J DOA approval. John joined the team at Percival Aviation in his current role in September 2014.
ROBERT FOWLES, COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Robert has over 40 years of quality assurance within the aviation and aerospace defence industries in
design manufacture and repair. He specialises in business management and continuous improvement
systems and has been instrumental in the development of Percival Aviation’s quality management and
improvement processes. Robert Joined Percival Aviation in November 2014 as Compliance Manager.
Robert is an avid DIY enthusiast.
KAREN PERCIVAL, COMPANY SECRETARY
Karen joined Percival Aviation officially in 2007 when she left her career as a secondary school teacher
in order to help her husband Neil in the family business. Karen has a varied background, she speaks 3
languages fluently having worked in France & Greece. Her passion is Yoga, and she now runs a very
successful Yoga Studio.

Percival Aviation currently hold the following Airworthiness Approvals: • EASA Part 21 Sub Part J Design Organisation Approval • EASA Part 21 Sub Part G Production Organisation Approval • Quality Management Systems AS9100 Approval • EASA Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Approval • General Civil Aviation Authority CAR 21 Design Approval, United Arab Emirates Percival Aviation is able to conduct Flammability Tests in its own purpose built Test Facility. The Test Facility is equipped with Vertical, Horizontal and Combination burn test equipment, as well as a specimen conditioning cabinet. All material testing is carried out to the appropriate requirements of CS25.853. Test results are certified by the Quality Department and approved by a suitably approved Design Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE). The CS25.853(c) App F. Pt 2 Combination flammability testing for seat covers and foams on passenger, flight deck and cabin attendant seats can be undertaken.   • 3. AIRLINE BRANDED THRESHOLD PLATE Percival Aviation manufacture a range of bespoke branded lavatory threshold plates. The threshold plates can be designed for any lavatory module and are a unique product offering. Percival Aviation can work with airline customers to manufacture any bespoke equipment that is required for the aircraft cabin. AMENITY RACK Percival Aviation manufacture a range of Amenity Bars, the design of which can accommodate any bottle size and shape specified by an airline. The Amenity Bar can also feature a locking system so that ‘pump action’ bottles or expensive brands can be accommodated, leaving them secure within the lavatory. EMIRATES A380 BULKHEAD MOUNTED FLOWER VASE Percival Aviation worked very closely with Emirates, to design and manufacture a component of the highest quality, befitting of their A380 First Class Cabin. BRITISH AIRWAYS SPEEDMARQUE Percival Aviation worked very closely with British Airways to design and manufacture a polished aluminium ‘Speedmarque’ bulkhead feature befitting of their First Class Cabin. SEATING COMPONENTS Percival Aviation provide product improvements to seating components. This is where a component can be analysed and re-designed to improve the reliability, cost, availability, colour/airline branding, or a combination of each. ARM CAPS Percival Aviation can manufacture new or provide a refurbishment service for arm caps installed on most types of seats in service today. New arm caps can be manufactured from self skinning foam or leather. The arm cap assembly can be refurbished, which allows for a change of colour and material. ASHTRAYS Percival Aviation manufactures a vast range of ashtrays to meet all installations from passenger seats to lavatory doors. OTTOMAN Percival Aviation manufacture replacement plastic components, for installation in the aircraft cabin. These components are designed by Percival Aviation as an alternative source to the OEM suppliers.

CABIN EQUIPMENT VALISES Percival Aviation manufacture a range of stowage bag valises for a number of different products ranging from oxygen masks and bottles, safety equipment, survival kits, first aid kits, demo bags and many more. LIGHT LENS Percival Aviation can manufacture decorative plastic light lenses, for installation in the passenger cabin and lavatories. These components are designed by Percival Aviation or are supplied as an alternative source to the OEM suppliers. DOOR ENTRY MAT Percival Aviation can supply Door Entry Mats manufactured from a durable wool loop with rubber backing. Each entry door mat can have an individual design and colour way. By installing an entry mat, it is proven that the main cabin carpet life can be increased and significantly cleaner, as all moisture and dirt is left on the entry mat. LITERATURE POCKETS Percival Aviation design and manufacture replacement literature pockets and magazine racks for use on Boeing and Airbus aircraft. They are designed to be a direct replacement for the factory fit unit, picking up on the existing mounting points or can be a bespoke design to your requirement. They offer the operator a cost effective replacement component within a comfortable lead time. PASSENGER RESTRAINT KIT Are your cabin crew subjected to abuse? The need to have a safe method of restraining passengers has been at the forefront of safety directives issued by the airlines and Percival Aviation has been able to support these requirements with their range of Passenger Restraint Kits. Each kit can include a variety of restraints, from hand cuffs, plastic ties and webbing restraints, but the kit can include any bespoke items requested by the airline and all packaging is branded with the airlines name and logo. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS Percival Aviation distribute the Fire Fighting Enterprises range of EASA Approved Fire Extinguishers for use inside the aircraft cabin. Manufactured as a seamless aluminium container for strength and lightness, the fire extinguishers can be fitted with special nozzles, for protecting inaccessible areas such as avionics bays, cargo compartments, etc. WATER BOTTLE STRAP Percival Aviation manufacture bottle holders that are installed in the passenger cabin, either to our own design or that specified by the airline. Percival Aviation provide products for the aircraft cabin. This can be where a component has been analysed and re- designed to improve the reliability, cost, availability, colour/airline branding, or a combination of each. Percival Aviation also provide new designed components in conjunction with airline specifications. FIRST AID KIT BAG Percival Aviation manufacture a range of First Aid Kit Bags to our own design or to individual airline specifications. Percival Aviation also manufacture a range of stowage bag valises for a number of different products ranging from oxygen masks and bottles, safety equipment, survival kits, demo bags and many more. OHB EXTENSION DOORS Percival Aviation can engineer a new overhead stowage bin door that allows passenger bags to be stowed transversely. Utilising all the OEM hardware and equipment and with no structure change or new latches, the benefits of these are simple: passenger ease & boarding turnaround time.

SOFT FURNISHINGS The Percival Aviation Trim Shop contains probably the highest skilled upholsterers in the UK and they are able to produce high quality products in a number of different materials, including leather, fabric and vinyl. CREW REST MATTRESS Percival Aviation can manufacture replacement mattress assemblies for crew rest areas. Replacement covers and mattress foams can be supplied and certified as required. SEAT COVERS AND FOAMS – ATTENDANT SEATS Percival Aviation offer replacement seat covers and foams for all types of Attendant seats. Working with fabric and leather, Percival Aviation are able to offer a ‘like for like’ replacement from our extensive library of attendant seat cover patterns. New seat foams can be manufactured to replace worn uncomfortable cushions. SEAT COVERS AND FOAMS – FLIGHT DECK SEATS Flight deck seats. Working with leather and sheepskin, Percival Aviation are able to offer a ‘like for like’ replacement from our extensive library of seat cover patterns. New seat foams can be manufactured to replace worn uncomfortable cushions. SEAT COVERS AND FOAMS – VIP SEATS Percival Aviations reputation for superb quality and service has led us to being asked to undertake work for the most prestigious of clients. Percival Aviation can individually design your seat covers and cushions, from the finest quality leather seat covers to the highest quality seat cushions, providing the ultimate in comfort and luxury. SEAT COVERS AND FOAMS – PASSENGER SEATS Percival Aviation offer replacement seat covers and foams for all types of passenger seats, for both 9G and 16G variants. Working with fabric and leather, Percival Aviation are able to offer a ‘like for like’ replacement from our extensive library of seat cover patterns or in conjunction with a customer, design and manufacture a new product for improved comfort or re-branding. New seat foams can be manufactured to replace worn uncomfortable cushions, to either the same density and style, or if it’s a longer life that you require, then Percival Aviation can provide pressure mapping and analysis of how an improved construction can help. CURTAINS Percival Aviation has an extensive aircraft curtain manufacturing capability. Individually designed to meet the customer requirement, all styles and sizes of curtains can be manufactured to the customer requirement and produced with very short lead times and from minimal information. To compliment this service, Percival Aviation can also design and manufacture the curtain track and structural attachments, including the modification paperwork.
  • 6. LAVATORIES LAVATORY FLOOR PAN Percival Aviation manufacture replacement floor pan assemblies. These offer a cost competitive alternative to the OEM product. Historically the lavatory floor pan assemblies are prone to cracking and therefore unable to stop fluid leaking to the airframe underneath. Percival Aviation has improved the design to help enhance the life and reliability of the product. LAVATORY MIRROR Percival Aviation manufacture replacement lavatory mirrors for airline customers across a variety of aircraft types and lavatory modules. Using high quality jet mirror, replacements mirrors are tested for impact and bulkhead separation loads. Each installation is supported by a minor modification and the lavatory can be additionally enhanced by the incorporation of a Percival Aviation flower vase and amenity bar. WASTE DISPOSAL FLAP Percival Aviation manufacture a range of replacement B747-400 and B767 Lavatory Waste Bin Flaps. Designed to be a low cost replacement part with integral spring, the Percival Aviation waste bin flap ensures a fast and easy method to return your lavatory waste compartment back within flammability compliance. LAVATORY FACIA Percival Aviation can manufacture replacement plastic components for inside the lavatory module. These components provide an alternative source to the OEM suppliers. Manufactured from quality materials, the Percival Aviation replacements are directly interchangeable with the original components.

DOOR MECHANISMS Percival Aviation manufacture replacement door locks for stowage’s, wardrobes and all other types of monuments. Individually designed to meet the customer requirement, various lock styles and sizes, can be produced with very short lead times. METAL FABRICATED PARTS Percival Aviation has the capability to manufacture the simplest of brackets to the complex assembly of a seat centre console. Having the capability on-site ensures that during repair and overhaul of interior components, there is the ability to perform repairs and manufacture new components without impacting on the turnaround times. Percival Aviation also has an extensive welding capability. Percival Aviation has a list of equipment which ranges from CNC vertical mills, lathes, CNC sheet metal punching, bending machines and brake presses. MEET THE TEAM NEIL PERCIVAL, CEO Neil joined the family business “Percival Associates” in 1985 initially as an additional Sales person, but as the company developed its own range of products in 1990, Neil became the company’s first Quality Manager. Neil became Managing Director in 1994 when his father passed away and is now CEO, he remains in that role today. In his spare time Neil likes to play golf. CHRIS BENCH, MANAGING DIRECTOR Chris has over 27 years of aircraft engineering experience, which started with an engineering apprenticeship at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, becoming an A&P engineer within the hangar. Chris joined Percival Aviation in 2006 as part of the sales team. In August 2014, Chris was promoted to MD. Chris is a big fan of F1 motor racing. LES BRIGHT, SALES MANAGER Les has over 30 years of sales experience both national and international through a variety of disciplines from retail, distribution and manufacturing working mainly for OEMs. Les joined Percival Aviation in October 2015 and heads up the Sales Team. Les likes to unwind at his local archery club. IAN LEECE, OPERATIONS MANAGER Ian has over 27 years of aircraft engineering experience, which started with an engineering apprenticeship at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, becoming lead engineer within the hangar. Ian joined Percival Aviation in September 2012 as a production engineer before becoming production manager. He was promoted to Operations Manager in July 2013. Ian enjoys a round of golf in his spare time. DEBORAH PLANT, FINANCE MANAGER Deborah has worked at Percival Aviation since 2002 and has been working in finance for over 25 years for various retail, construction and service industries. Deborah joined Percival Aviation as Finance Assistant before progressing to Finance Manager. In her spare time Deborah can often be seen supporting her rugby playing son. JOHN ALLEN, DESIGN OFFICE PROGRAMME MANAGER & HEAD OF AIRWORTHINESS John has 27 years of aircraft engineering experience which started with an engineering apprenticeship at Monarch Aircraft Engineering. John spent several years as a freelance engineer carrying out aircraft repairs and interior reconfigurations. He then moved to the Design Office at Gulfstream Aerospace, from there he went to Pall Europe to gain them their 21J DOA approval. John joined the team at Percival Aviation in his current role in September 2014. ROBERT FOWLES, COMPLIANCE MANAGER Robert has over 40 years of quality assurance within the aviation and aerospace defence industries in design manufacture and repair. He specialises in business management and continuous improvement systems and has been instrumental in the development of Percival Aviation’s quality management and improvement processes. Robert Joined Percival Aviation in November 2014 as Compliance Manager. Robert is an avid DIY enthusiast. KAREN PERCIVAL, COMPANY SECRETARY Karen joined Percival Aviation officially in 2007 when she left her career as a secondary school teacher in order to help her husband Neil in the family business. Karen has a varied background, she speaks 3 languages fluently having worked in France & Greece. Her passion is Yoga, and she now runs a very successful Yoga Studio.
