Oracle Mobile Cloud Service (MCS) acts as a middle layer for the mobile application to communicate
to the enterprise systems. MCS brings a rich set of development services like push notifications,
out-of-the box custom APIs, user management, storage, analytics and location services. The mobile
application works in “Offline” mode also, and reconnects to the backend systems when network
restores.
The entire design of the mobile application is scalable and modularized for ensuring flexibility and
easy configuration. The application supports integration to other enterprise systems as per customer
requirements.

HRMS Self-service App

DASHBOARD
MY PROFILE
Dashboard page section has the key information of the
employee who is logging in like the employee number,
name, position and profile picture. It has a pie chart that
indicates the pending, approved and rejected leaves of
the employee which serves as a handy information.
Users can navigate to various screens like My Profile,
Create Absence, Worklist, Employee Directory, Offline
Review, D ocument of Records and Special Information
from the Dashboard page.
‘My Profile’ section of the mobile application enables the
user to view detailed information including employee
name, employee number, employee picture and various
tabs to view and edit the basic profile information like
contact, address, emergency contact, competency profile
and qualification details.
Users can also view the training details, employment
history, compensation details and performance history
using ‘My Profile’.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
EMPLOYMENT
Employees can view the personal information in this
screen which includes basic details, contact, address
and emergency contact. Various address styles are
integrated in the application for the users to key in
different types of addresses. Users can enter and
maintain the address and contact information of their
respective emergency contacts.
Employees can view the employment history/assignment
details in this section. Details like job, organization, position,
grade, assignment category, location, organization email
address will be available in this section for quick reference.

PERFORMANCE
EMPLOYMENT
HIERARCHY
Users can view the performance appraisal events,
rating information, and the next review date in
this section. This section is ’View-only’.
Employees can view the supervisor and their
direct reports (one level below) and their
position from this screen.

COMPETENCY PROFILE
SEARCH
COMPETENCIES
Employees can view the current competencies and
their details like competency name, short name,
proficiency level, current status, start and end dates.
Users can search for multiple competency skills
defined in the system and add them at one shot to
the profile. Competency additions are routed to
supervisor for approval, post which the changes will
be applied to his/her profile.
Users can search for competencies by
entering a keyword. They can select the
search results and the same will be added
to the list of competencies. Once all
competencies are selected, they can
submit them to save the changes or route
for approval.

ADD COMPETENCIES
EDUCATION &
QUALIFICATION
The selected competencies can be added to the
competency list. You need to enter the start
date, end date, status and current proficiency
level.
Employees can view and add educational
qualifications in this section. They can
search from the pre-defined qualification
and add to the existing list. Employees can
capture details like qualification name,
type, school/institution, start date, end
date, attendance start and end dates,
status etc. Qualifications will be routed to
supervisor for approval. Users can
delete/edit the qualifications.

ABSENCE SUMMARY
Employees can view the total number of leaves drafted/
applied in the system through this feature. Attractive
and intuitive icons are available which indicates the
status of a leave application-draft/ pending/ approved/
rejected etc. The summary page also shows information
like absence start date, absence end date, duration, and
type of leave applied. If a user has drafted a leave
application, he/she can view the same in draft status in
the absence summary and the same can be edited and
submitted from this screen. Users can apply for leave
from the absence summary screen by clicking on the ‘+’
button.

TRAINING
Users can view the trainings for which they are nominated and
approved to attend. The training section is a ‘View-only’ section.
This section captures details like training name, delivery method,
enrollment status, training center, budgeting details, duration,
currency, start date and end date.

CALENDER
ABSENCE DETAILS
The submitted leaves can be viewed from the ‘Absence
Summary'. The user can quickly get a high level status view of all
the absences from the absence list and drill down to the
absence application details, view attachments, comments and
approval status.
‘ Team Calendar ’ equips the employees to plan their
leaves more accurately as this feature provides a user
intuitive graphical representation of leave plans for the
team mates. The employees and managers can see
clearly who all got approved leaves, rejected leaves and
submitted leaves before taking any action.
As a supervisor, this information is very helpful for
effective resource back up planning in the team. Users
can scroll to the left and right to get the view of different
months.

EMPLOYEE
DIRECTORY
CREATE ABSENCE
The user can apply for a leave of absence from his/her mobile
from anywhere, at any time and submit information to the
backend system. The user can upload and attach supporting
documents.
The leave types and leave reasons are integrated to match the
client application. Users can search for a leave type, enter the
reason, start and end date and apply for the leave or save for
later. The saved leaves will be moved to the Absence Summary
in draft mode and the same can be applied from the absence
summary screen. Team Calendar can be viewed from create
absence screen for effective planning before creating an
absence.This functionality is also extended to absence summary
screen using the ‘+’ button available.
Employee Directory or people search helps the employee
search for another employee within the organization and
add him/her as the favorite. An employee can add up to
20 favorites. Users can long press to add/remove favorite.
Employees can contact their favorite employees via
phone, email and also view the employment details like
position, organization etc. and direct reports and peers of
that employee.

& SPECIAL INFORMATION
WORKLIST
View/update/add document of records like visa, passport
and special information like expatriate details, using
simple but intuitive mobile app screens.
This feature is controlled based on the user login, roles and
responsibilities. A manager can approve an absence request (or)
various other worklist items) easily, from the mobile application,
irrespective of his/her location. He/she will get a notification on
the mobile for an absence created by his/her reportee and can
take quick action by reviewing the absence request. The man-
ager can approve or reject the absence request with a single
click. Users can have a detailed view of the transaction that
changed, and their proposed details. They can view the action
taken by the previous approvers and their comments.Users can
apply filter on the worklist for notification type, category and
also date based search. Users can click on the preferred notifi-
cation and view the details.

OFFLINE REVIEW
VIEW PAYSTUB
Offline mode facilitates creation of absence request even
when the mobile is in offline mode. Users can enter the
key information and submit it for approval. The absence
request can be synced to application once the network is
restored in the device.
Offline approvals help the managers to approve the
qualification, competency, basic details and leave requests
in offline mode. They can enter the required comments
and take action on the request. When the network is
restored, managers can navigate to the Offline Review
page, select multiple approval notifications and sync the
action to the backend application.
This feature allows the user to view their paystubs easily, from
their mobile. The user can even search and retrieve the payslip
for a certain range of period.
Paystub has different sections for details like the pay period
salary, summary, hours and earnings, pre-tax deductions, taxes,
after tax deductions, withholding tax information etc.

The eQuipMe™ Oracle Self-service mobile application automates the HRMS Self-service activities by extending existing backend IT systems like Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to mobile platform.The application promotes BYOD culture and creates a win-win situation for both the employer and employee with increase in employee flexibility and reduction in infrastructure cost.   • 2. DASHBOARD MY PROFILE Dashboard page section has the key information of the employee who is logging in like the employee number, name, position and profile picture. It has a pie chart that indicates the pending, approved and rejected leaves of the employee which serves as a handy information. Users can navigate to various screens like My Profile, Create Absence, Worklist, Employee Directory, Offline Review, D ocument of Records and Special Information from the Dashboard page. ‘My Profile’ section of the mobile application enables the user to view detailed information including employee name, employee number, employee picture and various tabs to view and edit the basic profile information like contact, address, emergency contact, competency profile and qualification details. Users can also view the training details, employment history, compensation details and performance history using ‘My Profile’. © RapidValue Solutions 2
  • 3. PERSONAL INFORMATION EMPLOYMENT Employees can view the personal information in this screen which includes basic details, contact, address and emergency contact. Various address styles are integrated in the application for the users to key in different types of addresses. Users can enter and maintain the address and contact information of their respective emergency contacts. Employees can view the employment history/assignment details in this section. Details like job, organization, position, grade, assignment category, location, organization email address will be available in this section for quick reference. © RapidValue Solutions 3
  • 4. PERFORMANCE EMPLOYMENT HIERARCHY Users can view the performance appraisal events, rating information, and the next review date in this section. This section is ’View-only’.   • 5. COMPETENCY PROFILE SEARCH COMPETENCIES Employees can view the current competencies and their details like competency name, short name, proficiency level, current status, start and end dates. Users can search for multiple competency skills defined in the system and add them at one shot to the profile. Competency additions are routed to supervisor for approval, post which the changes will be applied to his/her profile. Users can search for competencies by entering a keyword. They can select the search results and the same will be added to the list of competencies. Once all competencies are selected, they can submit them to save the changes or route for approval. © RapidValue Solutions 5
  • 6. 6 ADD COMPETENCIES EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION The selected competencies can be added to the competency list. You need to enter the start date, end date, status and current proficiency level. Employees can view and add educational qualifications in this section. They can search from the pre-defined qualification and add to the existing list. Employees can capture details like qualification name, type, school/institution, start date, end date, attendance start and end dates, status etc. Qualifications will be routed to supervisor for approval. Users can delete/edit the qualifications. © RapidValue Solutions
  • 7. ABSENCE SUMMARY Employees can view the total number of leaves drafted/ applied in the system through this feature. Attractive and intuitive icons are available which indicates the status of a leave application-draft/ pending/ approved/ rejected etc. The summary page also shows information like absence start date, absence end date, duration, and type of leave applied. If a user has drafted a leave application, he/she can view the same in draft status in the absence summary and the same can be edited and submitted from this screen. Users can apply for leave from the absence summary screen by clicking on the ‘+’ button. © RapidValue Solutions 7 TRAINING Users can view the trainings for which they are nominated and approved to attend. The training section is a ‘View-only’ section. This section captures details like training name, delivery method, enrollment status, training center, budgeting details, duration, currency, start date and end date.
  • 8. TEAM CALENDER ABSENCE DETAILS The submitted leaves can be viewed from the ‘Absence Summary'. The user can quickly get a high level status view of all the absences from the absence list and drill down to the absence application details, view attachments, comments and approval status. ‘ Team Calendar ’ equips the employees to plan their leaves more accurately as this feature provides a user intuitive graphical representation of leave plans for the team mates. The employees and managers can see clearly who all got approved leaves, rejected leaves and submitted leaves before taking any action. As a supervisor, this information is very helpful for effective resource back up planning in the team. Users can scroll to the left and right to get the view of different months. © RapidValue Solutions 8
  • 9. EMPLOYEE DIRECTORY CREATE ABSENCE The user can apply for a leave of absence from his/her mobile from anywhere, at any time and submit information to the backend system. The user can upload and attach supporting documents. The leave types and leave reasons are integrated to match the client application. Users can search for a leave type, enter the reason, start and end date and apply for the leave or save for later. The saved leaves will be moved to the Absence Summary in draft mode and the same can be applied from the absence summary screen. Team Calendar can be viewed from create absence screen for effective planning before creating an absence.This functionality is also extended to absence summary screen using the ‘+’ button available. Employee Directory or people search helps the employee search for another employee within the organization and add him/her as the favorite. An employee can add up to 20 favorites. Users can long press to add/remove favorite. Employees can contact their favorite employees via phone, email and also view the employment details like position, organization etc. and direct reports and peers of that employee. © RapidValue Solutions 9
  • 10. 10 DOCUMENT OF RECORDS & SPECIAL INFORMATION WORKLIST View/update/add document of records like visa, passport and special information like expatriate details, using simple but intuitive mobile app screens. This feature is controlled based on the user login, roles and responsibilities. A manager can approve an absence request (or) various other worklist items) easily, from the mobile application, irrespective of his/her location. He/she will get a notification on the mobile for an absence created by his/her reportee and can take quick action by reviewing the absence request. The man- ager can approve or reject the absence request with a single click. Users can have a detailed view of the transaction that changed, and their proposed details. They can view the action taken by the previous approvers and their comments.Users can apply filter on the worklist for notification type, category and also date based search.   • 11. 11 OFFLINE REVIEW VIEW PAYSTUB Offline mode facilitates creation of absence request even when the mobile is in offline mode. Users can enter the key information and submit it for approval. The absence request can be synced to application once the network is restored in the device. Offline approvals help the managers to approve the qualification, competency, basic details and leave requests in offline mode. They can enter the required comments and take action on the request. When the network is restored, managers can navigate to the Offline Review page, select multiple approval notifications and sync the action to the backend application. This feature allows the user to view their paystubs easily, from their mobile. The user can even search and retrieve the payslip for a certain range of period. Paystub has different sections for details like the pay period salary, summary, hours and earnings, pre-tax deductions, taxes, after tax deductions, withholding tax information etc. © RapidValue Solutions
